"You didn't have to leave me like that," he said with a tinge of sorrow in his voice, his eyes reflecting a deep well of unspoken emotion. "It was never my choice nor yours to separate us apart. The weight of those moments has lingered in my heart, and now, speaking of it again, it's as if those times hit me with the same intensity as when they first shattered my world." His voice trembled slightly, revealing the depth of his enduring pain.

I smiled faintly, "do you actually think that I'd do that just to hurt you?".

He looked at me with those same wounded eyes, the ones that had haunted me with regret ever since the day we parted ways two years ago. The pain in his gaze was a stark reminder of the choices I had made and the lingering guilt that had never quite left me. "Yes," he said, his voice carrying a mix of longing and disappointment. "But I hope you'd actually thought that I still feel the same way, just like what I promised. I had hoped you would remember that promise and understand that my love for you hasn't faded in the slightest."
