Bobo and Tjerk

A fun day at the pool

Today, Bobo and Tjerk go to their local pool. A big building with multiple pools inside and with a big room for changing and lockers. There's a big, deep pool, meant for people with enough swimming certificates and thus mainly inhabited with grown ups. And there's the kids pool, where you're able to stand on your feet. No worries about children drowning.
Unless you really try. I'd advice you not to.

Bobo yawns as he wakes up from his alarm. He stretches his arms above his head and gets out of bed. He opens the curtains. "What a wonderful day it is" he says. "What to do today... Surely I have to do something!" He thinks for a while. Finally he comes up with the perfect idea. Excitedly, he runs to the bathroom followed by his room again followed by the bathroom again, in an attempt at getting ready. What a chaotic bunny he is. As he storms downstairs in a happy manner, Krabbel walks down the hall and encounters him. "What are you so excited about this early on the day, Bobo?" she asks. "Well sis, I happen to have a perfect idea to spend the day" Bobo responds. "And what may that be?" Krabbel asks in a curious but slightly sarcastic way, as she is used to his idea bursts everyday. "I'm not telling you, haha" He says in a playful way. Krabbel rolls her eyes and shrugs her shoulders as she walks away laughing a little. "Well, whatever it is, have fun" she says as she walks out. Bobo stands still for a while, blacked out. "What was I gonna do again...?" he thinks. "Oh yea! I remember! Funny little brain, don't leave me to hang like that haha"

After finishing his breakfast and fully getting ready, he walks out the door, carrying a bag with him. Cheerily he walks to Tjerk's house, occasionally his steps turning into little skips. "Ohoho he's gonna love this surprise idea" Bobo says to himself. Tjerk lives very close to his own house, which is ideal for making sudden plans like this. When Bobo reaches Tjerk's front door he doesn't even get to knock, for Tjerk has already opened the door for him. He had apparently heard or seen him coming and rushed to the door. Bobo, taken by surprise, fell quiet for a second, but quickly got himself together and said "Hell0 Tjerk! Good day isn't it? Seems like a good day for fun plans don't you think?" Tjerk, delighted with Bobo's visit, answers "Oh yes, definitely! But any day is a good day to hang out with you, Bobo. What's the plan? What's in your bag by the way?" As to which Bobo grins and reaches into his bag. He takes out his swim wear.
"I see, that sure is a fun idea! I'll go get my swim wear as well in a moment. Where'd you wanna go? The little lake? Maybe a little cold..." Tjerk says. "No no no my dear Tjerk, I am not planning on going to that dull little lake. I'm planning the big boy stuff" Bobo boasts. "The... the big boy stuff?" Tjerk answers a little lost. "You know, the big pool. Come on Tjerk, we can't just go on with life without having been there! We wouldn't have lived!" "O-oh okay then. I'll go get my stuff, be right back!" Tjerk says as he rushes up the stairs. Bobo chuckles. When Tjerk comes back after a few minutes with his stuff in his bag, they start walking on their way to the pool.

They arrive at their destination. "Well well, here it is Tjerk. Our adventure is about to begin." Bobo says, sounding full of confidence. Tjerk, though a little nervously, follows Bobo inside through the entrance of the big building. As they get inside a warm fog greets them. "Aahh there we go." Bobo says with a delighted sigh. "Let's go find the changing room." Tjerk says. They walk around in attempt of finding the changing room. "Oh Bobo this place is too big, we'll never find it like this..." "Don't give up now Tjerk, we came this far. We'll find it!" Bobo says in attempt at encouraging Tjerk. At last they manage to find it. "WOOHOO WE FOUND IT" They both yell. ".....wait... Bobo... this is the ladies' room." "uh oh- RUN" they both run around in panic and find the right changing room by coincidence. "Hehe told you we'd find it Tjerk" "Right... Anyways, let's get ready!" They both walk into a changing booth. Accidentally into the same one at that. They bump into each other. "Oomph" Bobo grunts. "Oo-oops sorry Bobo" Tjerk says guiltily. "Hehe it's okay Tjerk,, what are the odds huh" "y-yea." They stand there for a while, a little bit of tension building up. Tjerk is flustered and gets red. Bobo also blushes a bit. "W-well I'll go find another booth then hah.." Tjerk stutters. He walks out.

Once Tjerk changed, he walked out of the booth and wanted to look for Bobo. However, he couldn't find Bobo.
"He didn't leave because of that awkward situation did he?" Tjerk mumbles to himself worriedly. He started looking for Bobo as the stress kept increasing. "Oh no please..." He starts running all over the place. "BOBOOO" he starts yelling.
He sits down discouraged, losing hope, as he suddenly sees a blue ear sticking out from behind an object. "B-bobo?" Tjerk softly says almost tearing up. Bobo shows up from behind the object and looks a little guilty. He walks toward Tjerk and puts his hand on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry Tjerk, I didn't mean to scare you like that... I just wanted to prank you for a little, but I didn't foresee this would get this out of hand. You okay?" Bobo says. "Yea... sorry I was overreacting." "Hey hey hey it's okay, shall we just get to the pool now?" "Okay" Tjerk gets up and they walk to the pool.

"Look at me Tjerk, I'm going in the deep one" "BOBO NO! You can't! You can't swim well enough, you'll drown!"
"pfff please Tjerk don't exaggerate. I'm too cool to drown tsk watch me" "please you're such a dumbass😔"
Bobo walks towards the diving blocks. "hEre I gO-" Bobo was interrupted by the sound of a whistle. "HEY YOU" said the lifeguard. Bobo looks around confused, then locks eyes with the lifeguard and points at himself. The lifeguard nods and makes a gesture he can't go in. Bobo, disappointed but also secretly relieved, walks away from the big pool. "I told you" Tjerk says with a smirk. "Well, guess we'll just get to the little pool then. That's also fine." Bobo says as they move, ignoring Tjerks comment. "Either way, I'm glad you didn't drown at least." "I TOLD YOU I DON'T DROWN" Bobo says half insulted. They both laugh as they jump in the water.
