"Happy birthday Cassie and Coltyn, Happy birthday to you!"

Coltyn and I each blew out our candles as everyone around the table cheered. I smiled as I looked around me, my family, my parents' friends, Coltyn's friends, and my friends all crowded around to make this day amazing for us. I could not be more grateful for the people I have.

Coltyn and I convinced our parents to let us have our friends stay the night.

Most of the adults left, so other than my family, Draco, Blaise, Daphne, Theo, and Coltyn's friends are the only ones still here.

My friends and I headed up to my room, Daphne in the front of the group. She opened the door, but immediately shut it.

"No, you need to wait a second," she said to the boys "Cass, we need to put our dresses somewhere else, they can't see them yet."

I slid through the barely opened door, and put the two dresses into my closet.

Tomorrow, the boys will go to the Malfoy Manor to get ready while Daphne and I get ready here. Apparently, it's tradition that the boys don't see the dresses until the day of the party.

I change into a pair of shorts and Draco's hoodie before opening my door again to let everyone in.

"So how does it feel not being a baby?" Daphne jeered as she jumped onto my bed. I'm the second youngest in the friend group, and I swear I never hear the end of it.

"Shut up," I scoffed lightly hitting her in the arm. We both laughed, as Theo spoke up.

"I know it's far away, but what are we doing for summer?" He looked around at us "my parents can't go anywhere because they have to work on the angry muggles trying to find our world."

Everyone agreed except for me, I knew I was going back to America. I'm not sure if my parents were going, but I was.

"I'm going to my lake house in America, it's part of the muggle world, but it's my favorite place ever. I can see if you guys can come visit for a while or something" I suggested.

"What the fuck is a lake house?" Blaise looked at me with a blank stare. I always forget that my friends are sheltered purebloods.

"It's a house, on a lake..." I said, not knowing how else to explain it "It's really fun to just live. Plus, we can't use magic outside of school anyways so it doesn't really make a difference."

We continued to talk about lake houses and summer plans into the late hours of the night.

I was half asleep in Draco's arms, Blaise was knocked out on my bean bag, and Daphne was fast asleep in Theo's arms.

"Draco," I whispered.

"Yes darling," he whispered back.

"Does he fancy her?"

"He's never admitted it, but I think he's always had a thing for her"

I smiled, they were made for each other.

"Goodnight, Draco," I turned to kiss his cheek "thank you for today"

"Goodnight beautiful," he responded while kissing the top of my head.

The next morning, I awoke to Draco's arms wrapped tightly around my torso, his thumb rubbing my stomach.

I dug my head further into his chest as he tightened his grip around me and dug his face into my hair.
