Promise Eternal

Chapter 8: Portal Room

The three adventurers enter the portal room which is surprisingly quite cold for all the torches in the room. Steamy proceeds to put her hand into the portal in which Eren walks around to the other side of the portal where Steamy's hand is nowhere to be seen. The adventurers eyes widen in shock to figure out It's a portal to a place that has never been heard of by them. Eren walks to the opposite side of the portal where the others are again, still gazing in amazement. Steamy removes her hand and stares at it surprised it's still there. Eyes widened, she slowly walks closer and closer to the portal. She looks back at Eren and OX and Eren shakes his head no for he knows what Steamy, her adventures self, is gonna do. Eren starts running towards her as she walks into the portal, yet he trips and falls flat on his face. He picks himself back up, only to see no one in front of him. He looks back at OX and says fiercely, "WE HAVE TO GO IN AND SAVE HER!" OX replies, "What do you think we are gonna do Eren. Of course we are going in." Eren nods and they walk into the portal. The moment they walk in, they hear a scream, but no Steamy?

I walk in and I see piles and piles of gold cons, and swords, and chests, and gems, and anything gold you could think of. I keep walking and I hear tiny footsteps like they are scuttering away. Again, I proceed, and I hear heavy breathing like some sort of giant creature is sleeping, maybe. I walk towards the sound to only see a giant, golden, dragon. I never knew they were still around! I thought they were taken out a few months ago! It starts to wake up and I can't keep in my fear of this fifty ton creature, shimmering with real golden scales. I scream, and the sound drowns out even the breathing of the golden dragon. I run and hide behind one of the piles about my size, and I equip my two ruby ninja swords. I knew that if I took out my greatsword I'd be spotted. Now I start to hear thunderous footsteps coming directly my way...
