Tori's POV
I squinted as I opened my eyes to the blinding rays coming through my window. I sighed. Today was Saturday. It was my best friend Emma's birthday and I told her I would take her shopping. She was turning eighteen.
I dragged myself out from under my fluffy blue sheets. As I walked across my room whose floors were carpetted with a soft light blue material to my adjoining bathroom, I thought of the glee that printed all over Emma's face when had told her the day before about what I planned to do for her birthday. My mouth automatically curled up into a smile.
Emma's family diidn't really have much money so Emma was always on a tight budget. We met in public school when I moved to London. My dad is really wealthy and hated the thought of sending me to public school but that's what I wanted. My skin crawled at the thought of going to a private school with a bunch of snobs.
I brushed my long shiny black hair up into on on top of my head. It was really long. I don't really know why i kept it that way but not everything need an explanation right?
I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. Wrapped in my white towel, I sat at my vanity table and decided whaht to do with my make up today. I decided on green eyeshadow. It makes the little specks of green in my aqua blue eyes pop. I put on a light pink blusher on my cheeks. My skin was pale but not deathly pale like the vampires in movies. It was more of a creamy white like vanilla ice cream.
I put on a pink lipstain and some lipbalm. I went to my walk-in closet and pulled on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white tank top. I finished off the look with black Doc Martens and a green varsity jacket. I heard a knock on my door.
"Ms. Evans?" I heard our house keeper, Mrs. Robinson, call.vShe was new and wasn't quite use to just calling me Tori.
"Come in. And please, call me Tori," I smiled at her. She was short and plump with curly brown hair which stopped just above her shoulder. She had a warm smile. She was one of the very few house keepers we had that I actually liked.
"Emma's here," she said.
"Oh, thank you," I said. I picked up my iPhone, credit cards and car keys and dropped them in my black handbag.
As I walked down the long spiraling staircase, I heard my Dad talking on the phone.
"Yes, send them in......no we have all afternoon to discuss the spending habits.." he chuckled, "No, tell Harry that I do not have a sexy wife he can hit on..."
Harry... The name rings a bell but I can't quite put my finger on it.
My Dad manages the accounts for tonnes of celebrities. Having famous people coming to your house everyday doesn't sound as glamourous as you think. It's actually quite boring when you get used to it.
I saw Emma sitting on one of the beige leather sofas waiting foor me.
"Happy cirthday girl!" I shouted running up to give her a big hug. Her face lit up when she heard me.
"Now you're old enough to drink," I said. She had styled her medium length blonde hair up into a messy bun.
"And we can go clubbing!" she shouted. I laughed.
"Come on," I said.
As we walked to my car, a white pajero 2012, I saw a van with dark tints pull up the drive way. I saw five guys about my age and a man that looks to be in his fifties get out of the car.
I eyes immediately landed on the one with the jet black hair that was styled to perfection. He had perfectly shaped cheek bones and his eyes were smouldering. He was handsome beyond imagine. But that's not what caught my attention. I noticed that he was also wearing black pants and a green varsity jacket. I laughed at that as Emma and I pulled out of the driveway.
