𝘼.
As Athena sat on the floor of the astronomy tour, she stared at the sky. The sky the deepest blue, almost black, that she had ever seen it. The stars glistening to make shapes, lines, blobs. She had goosebumps all over her body from the soft, cold air that surrounded her.
For a moment, it felt as if she had so much supply of air. It felt like she could store some of the air in her pocket, for when she needed it most. She felt like she was floating in the air, with so much air and wind surrounding her.
All she could feel was the cold touch of the air on her skin for a moment, then it was all taken away.
There was no air left for her to breathe in, none left for her to touch, for it to touch her warm skin.
Athena started inhaling deeply. Trying and trying to find some supply of air to hold on to. It was as if someone had come in and let the air fly out the door. She felt trapped, caged in, no wind, no oxygen to breathe In.
She sat up, sweating if that was even possible in this ice-cold weather, she clawed at her throat in hopes she would tear a hole or a passageway for the air to get in.
then everything went black.
---------
Athena shot up in bed. She started to see black spots from getting up too fast.
She wiped the sweat off her forehead with the back of her hand as she got out of her bed. The sheets clung to her as if snakes coiled around her legs.
She went to the bathroom to hurriedly brush her teeth, comb her hair, and get changed. She glanced at the clock and her eyes widened as big as she could open them.
She ran into the restroom warm feet padding the cold floor. She tried to go as fast as humanly possible.
She grabbed her toothbrush and just barely put on toothpaste, swiping it under the water before putting the toothbrush into her mouth.
Athena attempted to brush her teeth and comb her hair at the same time but that didn't go well. She eventually gave up and started going at her normal pace. She was already late to charms, might as well not go.
As she finished her morning routine, looking around the dorm, she found everyone was gone. Her thoughts flashed back to her dream. 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘧 𝘪 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱? Athena thought. She then shook the thought away as she didn't want to worry about that. She flew open the door and made sure to lock it.
She practically flew down the stairs, on her way down dropping some books out of her bag.
"Gosh damn it." She cursed. She bent down to pick up the books she dropped, oblivious to the couple in the corner of the room.
She heard them before she saw them, small moans of a lady, small grunts of a man, a belt... rattling?
She looked up to see shiny peach legs wrapped around a tall frame's hips. The man's hair pale blond, the women's hair light brown. She didn't have to look twice to realize it was Astoria and Draco doing it in the common room.
Athena quickly picked up her books, " I had one nightmare, don't need to have another" She whispered to herself. She didn't know if they heard her drop her books, but even if they did they seemed pretty unbothered.
𝘨𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦? She thought. She contemplated waiting to leave until they finished and left, but it seemed they had just started.
