I think around four-thirty I fell asleep because when I woke up I was in a small room.. The wallpaper was stained and I could hear what sounded like screaming from the other room. I sat up straight and when I did I could see Liam at a desk with his phone out with a paper and a pen. I got out of the bed and went over to where I crawled onto his lap and once again. He smiled and kissed me on the head. And soon enough I fell asleep but this time when I woke up he was gently shaking me.I opened my eyes and I realized that we were back on his motorcycle and I saw a small plane fly over my head.
We were at the airplane hangar. I knew that Liam had some friends in the business that were going to get us to North Dakota.”
“So why did they take you over there”
¨They owed liam a favor. I don't want to talk to you anymore.¨
“Hun if you ever wanna see Liam again you are gonna tell us what happened.”
“Whoever said i wanted to see him again?” I did wanna see him again and I wanted to see him now. But i knew that if i said anything else he would go away even longer.
The guy gives the girl officer a glance and she stands up and walks out. I think they were trying to play good cop, bad cop.
“ Alright kid, listen , we are just trying to get the sick monster who did this to you in jail, but you have to help us. We both know you wanna tell us, and that you are mad at liam but please talk to me. If not for you then the next girl, be her light.”
“”The next girl” is out there having the time of her life with the guy she wants without some nagging parents or adults telling her what to do and that girl better resize it and fast before the guy she loves gets taken away just because she slipped up and didn't follow the rules.” After I said that I realized that I had messed up again.
“What rules Lidia?” He asked me why I said that. This time I just lean back and don't say anything.
After a round of staring contest, he stands up and shakes something I can't see off his lap. Walks around the table and stands right over top of me. I hadn't really realized how tall he was before he came and stood there.
He crouched down and looked me in the eyes and then slammed his hand on the table. And i jumped, i wouldn't admit it but this guy was scary as heck.
I heard a voice on his walkie say ¨the girls mother is here.¨
