Short Wolfstar one shots

I don't know when, but I fell in love

It was their 5th year in Hogwarts and Sirius wasn't sure exactly when it had happened, but it was as clear to him as the sun is bright, he had fallen in love with Remus.

It wasn't something that happened in an instant, it wasn't hurried or shocking, it was slow, as if it had been frozen from the moment they met and had been thawing ever since and just recently became unfrozen.

In retrospect, he should have seen it coming.

Even if James was his best friend, Sirius always felt weirdly close to Remus, but it was different than with James.

They would always sit next to each other, and look in the others direction when they were laughing. They cared about each other and were extremely protective of the other.

Sirius had realized that he had romantic feelings for Remus near the end of their 4th year, and he had since then made more of an effort to be close to him.

If he ever found the tall guy sprawled across a couch on the living room with his head on the arm rest, he would lay on top of him with his head on his chest. Remus in return just hugged the boy and Sirius liked the way it made his heart skip.

One night, they fell asleep and they woke up so late that everyone had already gone up to their rooms. Remus woke up first, taking one of the hands he had around Sirius and patting his head while whispering his name to wake him up.

Once he was sure that Sirius was awake, he sat up keeping him sitting on his lap. In response to that, the shorter boy had moved to sit beside him but kept his legs on top of Remus.

"I cant believe we fell asleep," Sirius whispered still half-asleep.

"Yeah me either, we should go up." Remus added but neither of them made any effort to move.

They were staring at each others eyes in a comfortable silence.

"Yeah we should," Sirius answered after a long time.

"Yeah"

Something took over Sirius and he leaned closer to Remus until their lips were only an inch apart, "Can I kiss you?"

Remus eyes widened and for a moment Sirius was afraid that he had messed everything up but then Remus put one of his hands on the back of Sirius neck, "yes."

When their lips met it was an explosion of fireworks and butterflies inside of Sirius.

They stayed in the common room for a longer while and by the time they actually decided to go to their dorm to sleep, they were officially dating.

They told their friends that they were finally together the next morning and needless to say, they were not surprised.

Hi, this was a short one shot that I got the sudden urge to write instead of doing my homework.

I may or may not do more one shots here depending on whether I come up with any ideas or not.

Tbh I feel like I need to finish the books because although Ive read a lot of marauders fan fiction, I never finished the 5th book.
