Loki' s redemption

One Shot.

Writing and creating your own stories and ideas is an experience that you will never forget. Creating the plot, actions and even the characters is a creative process that may take time. When the story comes together though you will not regret writing. Indulging yourself into the story and watching it play out in your head is an experience that is fun but also creative and illustrative. I created my own story from an idea of what would have happened if in the Avengers movie series if Loki was not the bad guy. I know that fans all over have debates that Loki was controlled, that his eyes during the invasion were blue and they usually are green. That his eyes were the same color as Clints when he was being controlled. That when he first appears he looks exhausted and injured. Well, this is my take of that.

Loki groaned as he pulled himself out of the crater. Assessing himself, he saw that he had several bruised ribs, cuts, and many more bruises from being rag-dolled around by the monster known as the Hulk. His magic was also focussing its efforts on healing leaving him feeling weak. Knowing the punishment that he would be getting from Thanos with the loss of the tesseract, not to mention the scepter, he resigned himself not to fight and to face his punishment from the Allfather.

As soon as he was enclosed and situated in his cell, Thor walked in and asked, "Why? Why did you attempt to conquer Midgard Loki?"

Loki at the tone and the tears he saw falling down Thor's face was defeated and said stuttering, "I-I was forced to."

"What do you mean Loki?"

"After I fell from the BiFrost I drifted for what seemed like forever. I finally landed on a desolate planet that was controlled by a being known as Thanos and with him The Other. They delighted in my pain, my suffering, and my anguish. They broke me, Thor. I couldn't take it any longer and just did what they said. They wanted me to conquer Midgard. They wanted me to get them the tesseract."

"Why do they want the tesseract?"

"Not just the tesseract, Thor. He wants the whole set of Infinity Stones and the gauntlet also. He wants to rule the universe."

Loki sighed and took off his armor and undid his glamour. Without it, he has bruises and cuts dotting all over his body, some that looked weeks old, some that looked fresh.

Thor looked heartbroken and left to fetch their mother and a healer to see what they can do.

Once Loki was situated and healed, they left to go see the Allfather. Loki explained everything, even his time with the Other, and was declared guilty under coercion. He was sentenced to rehabilitation and to help clean up the damage with the heroes on Midgard.

Thor left to inform the Avengers and Loki was allowed back in his room to pack, which he did using his magic. When Thor returned, they said their goodbyes, and the Allfather, using the tesseract, sent them to Midgard.

The newly made Avengers were relaxing after the battle with Loki and the Chitauri. Boom! "JARVIS. What was that?" Tony Stark asked his AI.

"Sir. Thor is on the helipad."

"Let him in J."

"My friends," Thor boomed, "I come bearing news."

"What is it?"

"My Brother was not the conspirator of the Chitauri attack on your planet."

Clint jumped up and screamed, "WHAT! But he used the scepter to mind control me."

"This was not his fault. Due to excruciating circumstances, he was forced to try to conquer your planet."

Natasha spoke up, "By excruciating circumstances, do you mean he was tortured?"

"Yes, Lady Natasha. Due to this, the Allfather sentenced him to repercussions on Midgard. He is to work with you to clean up the damages and help you heroes."

The Avenger conversed for several minutes deciding whether or not to allow Loki to even stay on Midgard. In the end, they decided he would be allowed to stay. However only if Bruce and Tony could study his magic, and he would stay away from Clint.

"He will agree. Thank you, my friends."

As Thor went back to Asgard, the team decided to wait and see what would happen. Five minutes passed.

Loki and Thor showed up on the Helipad. Tony showed them where they were staying and left them to unpack and settle in.
