Drew pov

1 MONTH AGO

I was hanging out in the hallway with henry, liam and jake everything was normal. We were talking about stupid things and henry and liam make some stupid joke about me having a crush on jake…

They were right of course but, I can't let them know that!

“Come on guys! If anyone here is gay its you two!” said jake. Their faces turned bright red 

“What!? No!” they both said in perfect unison

We all laughed and I looked over at jake. Was his hair this silky and luscious before? I got lost in his pretty brown eyes, and thought about some things 

“Maybe we could end up together? Nah there's no way he feels the same... besides i'm already dating zoey but then again, i should have broken up with that brat months ago-”

“Hey, drew you there?” said jake 

I snapped out of my trance 

“Oh- yeah sorry i must have zoned out there…” i said and we all started laughing and being stupid again

Then zander and hailey walked past us

“Oh great it's them” i thought

The thing is i didn't actually hate them or their music, in fact i really respect what they do but my parents consider music a waste of time, so as a kid i would make fun of kids who liked it, and my friends followed my example, if i stopped now they would all make fun of me 

“Well if it isn't the music freaks” i said in a snarky tone 

“What do you want drew” said zander 

“Oh just checking how you and your girlfriend are doing” i replied

“We are step-siblings!” said zander

“Zander maybe we should just go” said hailey 

“Yeah run off and go play your silly little love songs for that stupid compotitio-”

“Drew just shut up!” jake snapped 

I was shocked, he seemed genuinely angry at me. I looked over at zander and hailey and they seemed just as surprised as i was 

“your all ignorant assholes who refuse to recognise the amount of talent and effort they put into their music!” said jake, speaking so loud he was almost yelling

“Jake i-”

“MAYBE I DIDN'T JUST JOIN THE CLUB FOR DAISY! AND I DO HAVE A PASSION FOR SINGING! AND YOUR ALL JUST BRATS THAT ARE TOO BIGHEADED AND SPOILED TO CARE!” he yelled before running off

Zander and hailey glared at me before running down the hall after him, and i just stood there in stunned silence 

“Well that sure was a spectacle” said Henry before he and Liam walked away.

I still didn't move, i just stood there in stunned silence
