It's a spirit in all, some weak as a leaf thrashing through the winter wind and some strong like
a bull whose horns shine like steel in the blazing sun. As it lies dormant till sparked, in a place just
over physicality, a place only grasped by mentality. It effects choices, decision, preferences, friends,
speech, lifestyle,HEART, AND SOUL. It is a fortress built brick by frigging brick as a means to
protect self-esteem, hide weaknesses, prove strengths, even protect ones mind from alteration.
Though attitude does not completely affect pride, it is a main sign. You can be bold and smart-aleck
and have pride weaker than paper in a storm, so fragile that the smallest reminder of a past pain
could shatter you like glass. You may be quiet, with a great attitude, and have the pride of a lion,
either physically or mentally strong, with a pride to contest all others who may dare challenge you in
your domain. It's the greatest battle cry, no matter the volume, firm yet quiet as the average church
mouse, or loud and firm as if a cry to the heavens which both are answered with a boost from god,
a gift of strength, or a second wind which feels as if all the prayer in the world was just absorbed
into your person. Grasp at this power, and once you feel your pride, no matter how strong it is, DO
NOT LET IT GO, RELEASE YOUR PRIDE FROM THE BINDINGS OF YOUR MIND.
