THE THRONE

Breaking silence

"She decided to break her silence"

She looked at the white dress laid down for her  in nothing but disgust.

 'You've to look presentable in front of the people.....Keep your bright image in front of the subjects. Maybe then you can be a queen one day'

Her father's lies rang in her head. she put up with the act for years, trained hard on weapons and practiced on being the perfect queen . She put up with those for years ,only for the throne to be passed over to her younger brother after her father's death . 

She, who was better than the new king in every aspect had to sit by and watch him rule the kingdom. Finally after a year and a half she decided to break her silence . She took out her dagger and rips up the white dress. With a look of satisfaction she takes a majestic black gown with a slit from her closet. She gets ready with her hair down and her golden mask . She thinks about the conversations she had with the king ......

'You can't be the queen. The council wouldn't want a female ruler. And obviously don't tell me that you thought I would pass the throne to you. Ha! Work your brains Estelle .'

'This is not fair . You can't do this father!! i worked just as hard as Edward .No .... I worked much more than him.... In every aspect I am more fit for the kingdom.... '

'We are not going to have pointless conversations Estell-'

'NO! We are very much having this conversation father.... You think about the things I had to sacrifice for being a queen... My personality.... My appearance .... Everything... You killed my Lucien.. Ruined my life...... Oh we are going to have this conversation and you are going to make me the queen after your reign and I'll make sure it's not Edward'

'ENOUGH!! Estelle..... How dare you raise your voice against my decision?! You've always been a disappointment to me... Edward will be the king and that's the end of this discussion!'

' Edward ,listen you very well know that I am fit for the queen. Help me convince father... Together we could be unstoppable '

'Estelle I know that you want to be the queen but it's not my fault that the council wants a male ruler... And moreover I don't mind being the king sister... No one would give up such a position ..'

'Listen here dear Edward , you and father killed Lucien saying he would be an obstacle in my path to be a queen and now..... How dare you.....'

'I think we are done here sister... Looking forward for the coronation.. I hope you'll  be there.. See you then'

'This is not fair....Edward.... '

' Nothing is fair in love and war sister...Think logically.....'

With a look of contempt she took the dagger and fit it onto her leg.... 

'This is going to be fun...At least one of us will....'

So.. That's it for the first chapter..... There are only 3 chapters and all 3 will be short ....
