Spring, the most beautiful part of the year because it's the only time when the cherry blossoms bloom. Spring was also the time when I first saw "him". Hey! My name is Orochi Fumio and I go to Asami High. I walk to school with a couple of my friends everyday, and that's when I saw him, Miyazaki Ren, one of the most famous boys at our school. To be honest I really didn't know anything about him until mid-1st year, and I couldn't really care less. But I heard that he was a transfer student from Kyoto. Almost all the girls of the school are after him, me being in the small percentage not going for him. All my friends ask me about him everyday because both of us have the same classes, but I just ignore them because I find it annoying. Today was the day of our Final Exams but it seemed like the school was much quieter than usual, so I asked my friends "what was going on?" they told me that "Ren is absent today", at first I thought it was kind of excessive but then they told me that his father died this morning, and that Ren had to attend his funeral. As much as I hated to think that it was excessive, I felt bad for him. As I was walking to the next class someone opened the door and attacked me on the way, I couldn't see who it was because they were wearing a mask, but they had the school uniform on. I felt uncomfortable for a few minutes because the masked person just dragged me to an empty classroom, but then they started to take off the mask. It was Kinoshita Haru, I knew Haru for almost my whole life, we grew up together. But that made me question "why did he pull me into a classroom?", he started to stutter like he was scared of something. He said "Please help him, help Ren!", I was really confused on what he was talking about, Haru started to tear up and said "Ren has Ca-", the bell rang and Haru hurried out of the classroom, I really couldn't hear what Haru said when the bell went off, but it seemed important since it was about Ren. Just who is Miyazaki Ren?
