“Diana! Diana! Diana! Wake up! C’mon were gonna be late! It’s our first day of senior year remember!” I heard someone yell literally right in my ear.
Seriously people, can’t you see that I’m trying to sleep here! “I have strawberries.” I heard, I think McKenzie, say tauntingly. “I’M AWAKE!”I shot up instantly at the mention of my beloved strawberries.
I got out of bed and began tearing apart my room looking for MY strawberries. “WHERE ARE THEY?” I shouted at McKenzie. Her face turned slightly red, telling me she lied about her having strawberries. “Fuck you.” I told her and then skipped over to my closet.
You see I’m not the most fashionable person. That’s what Annabelle is for.
Anyways, me being myself I chose out my pre-torn dark blue denim jeans, a shirt that said “I’m that one girl out there that actually knows how to play COD”, my white and black converse, and my pull-over that said L.A. in really big bold
cursive.I skipped out of my closet over towards my bathroom. Yes, I have my own personal bathroom thank you very much. I got out my Strawberry scented perfume, my strawberry lip gloss, and my bright red hairbrush. No, I can’t do hair either that’s what Savannah is for.
I just simply brushed through my hair letting my wavy hair flow down my shoulders and back. I sprayed on my perfume and applied one layer of lip gloss.
I’m not very fond of make-up. To me it just makes you look like a clown. Well, only those girls who put on blush, foundation, or that other crap. But eyeliner and mascara I actually understand, some people just like to wear it just because.“Hurry up Diana!” “Coming!” I shouted back. I grabbed my over the shoulder bag and my LG3 vigor phone then I, ever so slowly, trudged down the mile.
You see I call the stairs, “The mile” because there are so damn many. It’s ridiculous.
When I reached the bottom of the mile I skipped
towards the kitchen.OH where are my manners?
Wait… I have none.
Whatever, my name is Diana Elizabeth Cowell; I am now a senior in Laneway high. I am about 5’7”, I’m adopted but I kept my real last name. I have black and Brown hair; my boyfriend’s name is Nathan Gates he is also a senior; he has dark brown and blonde streaks through his hair and the most beautiful blue eyes ever!
My best friends are McKenzie Taylor, she has bright red hair, and brown eyes.
Then there’s Annabelle Gates, she and Nathan are twins, she has the same color eyes as him and dirty blonde hair that she dyed to confuse people because it looks natural.
Lastly, there is Savannah Mace; she has been my best friend since I was adopted since she lived across the street. She has long like longer than two of my arms, long black and Brown hair; and the brightest green eyes ever.
Now, where was I, oh yeah we’re all 17 except for McKenzie, she’s 18. Back to reality.
I hadn’t realized
that I was subconsciously munching on MY strawberries. Well then, how about that?“DIANA, IF YOU DON’T GET YOUR ARSE OVER HERE WE’RE GOING TO BE LATE!” Damn McKenzie…
I sprinted over to the front door where she waiting impatiently. “Took you long enough.” She huffed and exited the house.
I climbed into her slick, black Nissan and buckled up. I heard the car door open and in came Savannah wearing her usual converse high tops with her signature jeans and Nirvana t-shirt.
