I walked back to the car with Radar,Lacey, and Ben feeling gloomy. The sun was setting behind the barn that Margo was staying in, probably writing in her journal, just how I left her. The walk back to the car was silent, because I assumed no one knew what to say. I mean, what would you say to your friend after he just left the love of his life so she could travel the world. I would be speechless.
"Hey Q," Radar said looking down at his dirt covered feet, "Are you driving home?"
"Yeah, I guess so." I said as I got into the drivers seat of my now, dirt covered mini van. I got comfortably in the seat then slammed the car door so hard it made the car shake. Lacey got into the seat next to me. I glanced over at her, and she gave me her "I know something is wrong" look.
"Q, are you okay?" I set my hands on the steering wheel and looked at Lacey.
"No, Lace, I'm really not. Has the love of your life ever shattered your heart by leaving you in the dust when you go and see the world?
"No, this is-"
"That's what I thought." I cut her off, "I wanted more than anything in the world for Margo to just... Come home. Even if she comes home I know she will still never talk to me. You know, even if I don't get to talk to her I will get to see her. I will get to see the girl I fell in love with as a kid. I can see the girl that cares about anything that matters.
And when I see her I will remember that crazy night we had together. And I will fall for her all over again, because that's just the effect that Margo Roth Speigelman. She pulls you in and never let's back out, and I'm pretty sure that she does not even try. She didn't care about anyone's opinions or care what they thought of her.
That one night we had together, she made me feel like I was king of the world, and she was my queen. And that we would forever rule the world, side by side.
Which is why I can't leave, I can't leave her. I'm way too in love with her." I leaned far back in my seat and took a very deep breath. Ben put his hand on my shoulder.
"Go, I think that you should go. I mean, if I was in your position I would stay. Mainly because my parents are weird, but also for that whole love thing too."
"I agree with Bloody Ben, go. Promise me that you will stay out of trouble though." Ben flicked Radar on the back of the head with a straw. I opened the door of the car and unbuckled my seatbelt. I looked back at my friends who were all staring at me.
"Guys, I'm gonna-"
"Q", Lacey glared at me, "just go"
"Okay" I smiled at them then ran at full sprint towards the abandoned barn. The sun was setting behind the barn, so the sun was kind of glaring into my eyes. I eventually made it to the barn, and even though I was panting like a dog I was not going to stop.
I ran into the barn and saw Margo standing in the middle of the room.
"Q", Margo said, "what are you-"
"No, don't talk, just listen to me.", I was now walking towards her, "Margo, stop pushing me away. The more you push me away the more you want me to try even harder. Margo, your a mystery, not even the most skilled detectives in the whole entire world could solve your mystery, but I'm gonna try. I will not give up. Whether it takes me a month or a million years, I will try, and try, and try, because Margo Roth Speigelman I am that type of person. You may think of me as that scrawny little nerd next door that you would not have talked to for a million dollars. Until that one night, I thought everything was different. And, it was. In a good way. I felt like I knew you better than anyone else in the whole entire world. So Margo, trust me when I say this, I will stay by your side for infinity and beyond." I put my hands on her waist, she put her hands on my face.
"Q, I can't believe I almost let you slip out of my fingers. I couldn't picture my life without you." Tears were in her eyes. I pulled her in so close to me I could smell her breath. I didn't smell that good but I didn't care. I was just happy to have her in my arms.
"I'll love you forever, Margo Roth Speigelman." I pulled her in closer and kissed her. I held her in my arms as night fell. The energy I felt with her in my arms was strong enough to move mountains. I knew we would be together forever.

Paper Towns: A Continuation
RandomThis is a continuation of one of my absolutely favorite John Green books. It talks about what happens after Quentin leaves Margo in the barn, and what he can do to change the future and rewrite the past. This book does have SPOILERS so, if you have...
