It's Sunday morning and the  first day of junior high at Aldera didn't start till tomorrow,so meantime your in bed sleeping while your sister Kayla is in the other room sleeping.

It was around 9:30 a.m,you fluttered your eyes open trying to get use to the sunlight.You started to stretch and sat up in bed,and 5 minutes later you decided to get up and head straight to the bathroom to take a warm shower and got yourself situated.You knew how to do hair at a young age so it wasn't a problem for you.

You decided to put your hair half up and the rest of it down,you had long hair so it was a process💅🏾.The reason why your hair is long and curly because you knew how to take care of it.

As you were putting your stuff away, you hear your door open, and looking up you see Kayla standing outside the door way with her hair everywhere.

Y/N's POV
I hear my door open and I looked up to see that it was my sister Kayla standing outside my door. I looked at her hair and gave her a little smirk and said "Let me guess...you want me to do your hair" saying as you got out your hair products again.

"Yea" she said smiling. She walked over to your bed and sat on the floor while you sat at the edge of the bed doing her hair and putting products in her hair. After an 1hr of combing out knots and styling her hair, she got up and looked in the mirror.

She started examining her hair in my bathroom mirror and I looked at her and rolled my eyes as I got up and started to put my stuff away.

"Thanks y/n I love it!" She's says excitedly walking out the bathroom. "Of course, what can you do without me" I say and I gave her a soft smile. We both started to giggle but that's when me and Kayla heard a loud smash coming from downstairs. I looked at her first and then she looked at me. We both slowly creeped down the stairs to see glass shattered everywhere.

I covered my mouth to prevent me from screaming. Me and Kayla came in the kitchen to see our mom with a bruise on her cheek and tears running down her face. Kayla started to cry so I held her hand. Then I looked at my mom...hurt and crying. Our father looked at us and his face was full of anger."I'll give you something to cry about!" My dad said stomping towards my sister and raising his hand about to hit her.

I jumped in front her and activated my quirk and made a force field with air. I could only keep it for a couple of seconds or so because I didn't really know how to control my quirk.Once my quirk wore off he grabbed the both of us by our arms.

Me and Kayla was struggling to get out his grasp but he was stronger. His hand kept tightening around our arms to the point where we were bruised.My mom then yelled at him telling him to stop, he lets go of us and we both fell to the ground. Me and Kayla was scared to death.

I look at my arm and then Kayla's arm and we both had bruises on it.So he took one last look at all of us and said something under his breathe and started to walk towards the door and slammed the door shut. Our mom came running towards us, hugging us tightly.

I could feel the tears rolling down my cheek and she let go of us and looked at us sitting to our height saying "Were going to get out of this, Mommy promise", then she went back to hugging us tightly and we hugged her back.
(Fast forward to later on that day)
While my mom cleaned up the mess from earlier she started to make dinner for us.She knew me and Kayla both liked f/f. While we was waiting for dinner to be done, I decided to go watch tv in my room.I was flipping through channels and didn't really see anything until haikyu came on and that's what I decided to watch.

(fast forward to dinner)

Me and Kayla is sitting next to each other while our mom were washing the dishes. That's when me and Kayla heard the door slam so hard that we felt the vibration. We look toward that direction and it was our father....my mom looked at him and she crossed her arms "What the hell is your issue", she then put her hands on her hips.

He walked up to her and slapped her. Me and Kayla were scared but I knew I needed to stand up for my mother. "LEAVE HER ALONE" I yelled at my dad that was about to strike her again. My mom looked at me with fear and then looked back at him.

He walked towards both me and Kayla and started to hit us. As he hit and punched I could feel sharp pains throughout my body.My mom ran towards us grabbed us both and pulled her towards us and used her protection quirk around all 3 of us. I felt blood running down my lip to my chin and I looked over to Kayla and her nose was bleeding.

"This is enough!"my mom turned and yelled at my dad. He looked really furious and started to pound on the shield."Mom I'm tired of this..." Kayla said as she looked up at our mom.
"We will get a new and better house soon...and our lives will become better that this, I'm sorry for all this...."

We nodded slowly and then looked up at my father and he started to throw things around and was yelling and cursing at us and then he stormed out the house and got into his car and never came back that night...tonight was really nerve racking for us and I tried my best to get as much sleep as I can but with all that just happened it was hard.

(I hope you guys liked it, i know it's probably boring as hell but I'll try my best to make it better as I go along, please keep in mind this is my ever first story I wrote because I usually read other people's stories lol).
