No one's POV 

'Y/n gasped, looking up at the 7'3 mafia boss schoolmate, scared and intrigued because he's so hot.' "That's so dumb. Why would you gasp and look up at a person, you just walk past them and say sorry if you bumped into him!" "Y/n, come on. Wattpad stories are supposed to be kinda silly but they are fun to read and sometimes they even help your mood." The e/c-eyed girl rolled her eyes and looked at her red-haired friend. "Layla, I love you. But sometimes you need to stop reading this crap. This is why you aren't gonna keep a man." Layla stood up, shrugging her shoulders. "Look, I just like them. I'm sorry that I'm a complete nerd and you're a cool chick." She snorted and walked away, "I'm just saying, reading a story might be fun. You never know. Just try to stay away from 'Yandere x reader' stories. You get hooked on them." As she walked away, Y/n smiled. "I'll make sure to read those first, weirdo."

Y/n POV

I never got why Layla spent all her free time reading stories when everyone else went out to parties and had fun. She was a very smart person, but never good with social interaction. She spent a lot of time reading, and I never got that. Me, on the other hand, lived a completely normal life, married parents, an annoying older brother, and decent grades. I was normal. No one really paid attention to me, and I didn't mind. I sat down in English class, and stared out the window, since I have nothing better to do. I noticed Layla ignoring a group of guys who were obviously interested in her. "Fucking idiot..." I muttered as I smiled, but the teacher heard me and called me out. "Something you'd like to share with the class, Y/n?" "Uh, no ma'am." "No, please. Enlighten us. I distinctly heard you mumbling something." "I was talking to myself, it kinda isn't your business." The class froze and looked at me. Oh holy fucking cheese and crackers. I'm so dead. "Go out into the hall. I'll talk to you after class." I walked out the door and stood there, fighting the urge to cry. "What are you in for?" I looked up and saw a tall, skinny, brown and purple haired male. "I talked to myself and the teacher had a problem with it." He laughed. "Mrs. Hendricks always has a stick up her ass. I'm Colby. What's your name, troublemaker?" "It's Y/n." He smiled as I rolled my eyes. "You know, I kinda like your smile." "I ain't smiling, dumbass." "Then I have something to look forward to, troublemaker." I crossed my arms and laughed. "You sound like a shitty love interest in a movie." "Nah, I'm the main character." He said, striking a pose. The teacher then opened the door and started yelling at me. As I walked back into class I saw him waving at me. 

TIME SKIP

I made my way to lunch and I saw Layla. She waved me over and I sat down next to her. "Bruh. The craziest thing happened to me." She put down her lunch and raised her eyebrows. "Spill." So I began to tell her everything, from seeing her and calling her an idiot, to getting in trouble, then meeting Colby. "Damn. That sounds like a shitty love story waiting to happen." "I know!" "But it helps that he's so hot." Out of no where, Colby and another guy came over, and sat down on either side of us, making a human sandwich. "Who's hot?" Layla raised her eyebrows, "Laito Sakamaki." "Nah, just all the Sakamakis." "Who?" The boys looked so lost, and I shot her a "thank you" smile. "It's anime." They both nodded and stared at us. "So, troublemaker. I heard you got detention." I shook my head, confused. "Nope, just a lot of ear damage." Layla snorted and shrugged. "That's what you get for talking in class." She got up and went to throw away her trash, and Colby's friend followed her. "Ten bucks Corey and her are gonna make out." "Who?" "My man-bun friend." I looked over at him, shaking my head. "She's gonna make him read a story, not make out with him." 

Colby's POV

I looked down at the girl happily eating her lunch, not a care in the world. I put my head in my hands, smiling at her cute manners. "You gonna eat or just stare at me, creep?" I laughed and got closer to her, "I just wanna look at you, how is that creepy?" She scoffed and shrugged. "Do what you want, just don't come any closer please," she laughed as she got up to throw away her garbage. The bell rang and she started to walk away, meeting up with her blonde friend. "How'd it go?" "No idea Corey, she thinks I'm creepy. I think." He started laughing, causing me to smack him. "Hey, shush. How'd it go with the red-haired girl?" He stopped laughing and straightened his tank top. "She and I just talked. So you're gonna have to pay up." I shrugged and smiled. "She's cute." Corey shook his head. "You're in loooooove! Anyways, I'm gonna dip. I'll see you at home."

TIME SKIP

The second school ended I went to go find Y/n, because I wanted to give her the ten bucks and I just wanted to see her again. I made my way through the hallways until I saw her at her locker. "Troublemaker!" I called out, causing her to freeze and her friend to walk away. "Hey, Colby." I leaned on her locker and held out ten bucks. "Payment." "Wait, you were serious about that? I would've bet higher." She smiled and shut her locker. "Anyways, thanks." She rummaged through her backpack, and pulled out a piece of paper. "My friend wanted to give your friend this." I smiled and took it, shoving it in my pocket. "Can I have your number or Snapchat, troublemaker?" She nodded, handing me her phone. "You know, I'm starting to think that you don't know my name." I put in my number and added myself on her snap. "Y/n, you have an amazing name. I just like your nickname." She rolled her eyes and started walking, so I walked with her. "So, how was your day?" "It was fine. Got yelled at, got hit on by a creep, the usual." I knew she was joking, but it still hurt that she called me a creep. We arrived at her car, and I grabbed her shoulders and kissed her. "Sorry. I just really wanted to do it."  "That's okay, you creep. I kinda liked it." She smiled and got in her car, and I watched her drive off.  I got into my car and followed her, but not so she can see me, and I watched her park and walk into her house, and I drove away. I made it home and took off my shirt and sighed, looking at the pictures I took of her.

"God, I think I'm falling for you."
