Chapter 1

Jarissa's POV

To believe that you have fallen in love, but you really didn't hurts. That happened to me. I thought I had fallen in love with Stephon and Micah, but I hadn't. Stephon was using me so he can become something big and Micah was just using me for sex. When I found out their true colors, I was hurt. The same question still circle around in my mind. Did they true love me the way I loved them?
"Jarissa," my mother screamed to me.

Mom:I need you to go get Janae and Janice(my little sisters) from school
Me:Why can't they walk home? They know how
Mom:Because I said so
Me:Ok I'll go
As I was hopping in my car my next door neighbor/best friend came walking out his house. Malik is 18, a year older than me. We go to the same school, which sometimes irritates me when Im getting ready to leave and I have to wait to give him a ride.Although we didn't have school because of testing.
Malik:Where you going?
Me:To get my sisters.
Malik:Can I come?
Me:Idk ask your mom.
Malik:I don't gotta ask her anything. Nigga I'm grown.
Me:Ok so what are you waiting for?
I started my camero and Malik jumped in the passenger seat. When we got to the school my sisters were already waiting for me. They hopped in the car and we stopped at Burger King on the way home. When we went inside Burger King my phone started ringing. It was my girl Brittany.
Brittany:Hey girl you need to come over rite now.
Me:I can't I have the twins with me but what's going on?
Brittany:Shatonni is bugging she talking about how she going to beat your ass and shit. She just talking reckless out her mouth.
Me:I gtg but I'll be over in an hour.
We said our byes and hung up the phone.

Malik's POV
When we got back into Jarissa's car I can tell something was up. She quickly dropped her sisters off and hopped back in her car.
Me:Yo what's going on?
Her:That bitch Shatonni wants the hands.
Me:what are you talking about? You and Shatonni are cool.
Her:I thought the same thing.
We pulled up to Brittany's house and she parked her car. Brittany came running outside. They walked in there and I followed behind them. When we got inside we saw a cake that said thank you and come to find out they threw a party for Jarissa to thank her for all she has done for them. It was cute and creative.
