*ring ring ring ring* "hey it's maeve sorry I can't come to the phone right now, please leave a message after the beep."
"Uh yeah it's faye we're clubbing tonight at the new bar on fith, Greyson and teo said they will meet us there. I'll pick you up at 8" Faye said hanging up the phone
Later that night Faye pulled up at Maeve's house in a fiat bambino convertible light sage.
"Nice ride" said Maeve
"Thanks it's new. Ok get in"
"So what's the hype on this bar" said Maeve
"Ugh idk some vintage juice/club bar."
"Cute"
10 mins later they arrive out the front of the bar
"Heyyy ladiesss" yelled teo
"Ugh sexy ride Faye" also yelled Greyson
2 shots in and they were already feeling a little dizzy.
"I THINK SOMEONE SPIKED MY DRINK" yelled Maeve over the screaming crowd
"SAME" yelled teo
"I THINK ITS JUST THE OLD ALCOHOL"
They al agreed it was fine and persisted to dance. Spinning and spinning the dancers started to slow and the world seemed a little blurry. All the lights from the stage blurred into a dark brown and eventually the world was black.
"OMG GUYS WAKE UP"
They all awoke in a fright coated in hot sticky sand.
"where the fuck are we???"
"I can't remember a single thing from last night" said teo
"Ok everybody up, we have to find water" said Greyson. We should mention that Greyson was like the father of the group. Always keeping them in place.
"Can't believe I'm stuck out here with you" said Maeve. Another thing we should mention is that Maeve and Greyson had a fling a while back but it ended quickly after Maeve saw Greyson kissing his ex girlfriend. Of course they weren't exclusive but still. Maeve and Greyson had patched things up since then but still couldn't help but have hard feelings.
"Ok let's go" said Faye
4 hours in and the sun started to set. Sweat trickled from their four heads. But they could see dark oak wood in the distance and they were committed to water, food and sleep.
Eventually they reached the town but it was empty and torn apart.
"Ugh public bathroom I'm gonna go see if it has showers or water" said Faye basically inhaling sand.
The other three sat down on an old park bench. At this time they thought Faye was just in the bathroom having a normal experience but they were wrong. Faye entered the bathroom. Spray paint all over the walls and sand everywhere. Faye walked to the sink and twisted the tap. No water came out. But she heard a creak. Faye looked around at a window on her left. Dead eye contact with two black and tired eyes. In fright Faye ran out back to the other three.
"WE FOUND WATER!!!" Yelled Greyson
After a sip of green yet refreshing water and a minute of silence were they all took in that day.
Maeve finally spoke. "Guys how did we even end up here? I'm sick and tired and I just want to go home." And then after swallowing another huge gulp of water Faye realized something. "Oh my god. I know what happened." And with those words her heart sank piecing everything together. The terror set in and reality came to her eyes.
