Josie the Giant

Chapter two

     Every day when Ella and Jimmy got home from school they would get some food and run out past the woods and past the hills till they got to the cave that Josie was living in. “Hello giant, what is your name?” asked Jimmy as he did every day “My name does not matter.” Replied Josie as she did every day “We brought you some donuts.” Said Ella “Thank you very much.” Said Josie. Then Jimmy and Josie and Ella would go outside and run through the trees, play games, and sometimes Josie would give Jimmy and Ella rides on top of her giant head. All was well, Ella and Jimmy where happy and Josie was happier then she had ever been, because for once in her life she wasn’t alone. But one day Jimmy and Ella had some bad news “Giant what is your name?” asked Jimmy with tears in his eyes “Jimmy what is the matter?” Asked Josie “We have some terrible news.” Said Ella “What is it?” asked Josie “Please tell me.” So Jimmy replied “Our father lost his job, we have to move in with our Grandma.” “We will never see you again.” Added Ella as she started to cry. Josie didn’t know what to say so she knelt down next to them and told them it was going to be okay, that they would make new friends and that she would always be with them all they had to do was look up at her old home, the moon. Then Jimmy and Ella went home because they had a lot of packing to do, and once again Josie was alone.
