You had always noticed you were different from the rest. With medium length, h/c hair, a smile that always managed to infect others and a bubbly personality - everyone adored you. Your days were spent in high school, with a small, but tight friend group. Socializing with people you didn't know was never a problem, in fact speaking to new people was enthralling and exhilarating.
Outside of school, you did what any teenager did. Hung out with friends, did your homework and spent a lot of time on the internet. You seemed to have the perfect life of a teenager. Therefore, you certainly never would've thought that you would be where you were today.
On the doorstep outside a new private school, you had been exiled from your previous school. The experience was horrifying, but it was better this way. You'd never forget the looks people gave you... You shuddered, trying to shake the thoughts away. Today was a new day and therefore you would try to forget everything that had happened and look forward.
The gate you stood in front of had bright red pillars, with a small, dark brown roof atop it. There were small details adorned on the edges of the roof, such as gold figures of various deformed mythical beings. The gateway led to a small, yet polished path, which snaked through a beautiful forest up a hill. Beyond the hill, you spotted several houses in the distance. Birds were chattering, the sunrays hit your back and warmed the back of your head and the air smelled of summer. It was a beautiful day, and you tried to appreciate that not all was bad.
Taking a deep breath, you tried to make the nervousness disappear. Then, you started walking the stone path up to the houses you had seen. You were overly aware of your surroundings, scanning your environment for any people. Suddenly, you heard tiny steps behind you that seemed too close for comfort. Flipping around, you were ready to whack whoever was there. As you did, your face came in contact with a chest. Frozen in place, your limbs seemed unable to move. Arms were placed around your shoulders, trying to steady you. Finally, you looked up and saw a man with pale skin, white, fluffy hair and a blindfold. Your breath stopped. When you realized you had been staring dumbfounded for way too long, you coughed and took two steps back, bowing to show him respect. This was a high ranked teacher at the school, you were certain of it.
You didn't have time to react further before the man grinned. "Don't worry about it, l/n-san. I noticed you looking uncomfortable, so like the good man I am, I came to your rescue!" Soon, your sensei's smile turned into a smirk, causing you to slightly bow your head in embarrassment. Quietly you thanked him, eyes on the ground. Something about this man made you very, very nervous. It was almost as if you could feel there was something special about him. "I'm sorry, may I ask for your name, sensei?" you asked him. "Gojo Satoru. Special Grade," he winked at you, "Let me walk you around." He gestured toward one of the larger buildings in the distance, once again with a wide grin on his face. Stone-faced, you followed him into a place that you would have to start calling your home.
Similarly to the grand entrance, the buildings were as gorgeous - intricate and glowing with gold details, carvings of dragons and wolves. Though the houses were traditional, the chosen colors made them seem more modern and high status. In your peripheral, you noticed your sensei watching you, which made you wonder who he was exactly. Everything you had gone through up until now, all the pain and the suffering, seemed to have led up to this moment.
In what seemed like the blink of an eye, you were suddenly outside of a room. Your hands were grasping a card, with your name and room number on it. Your sensei was nowhere to be seen, he had probably left a long time ago. Instead of him, standing next to you was a dark haired man who had introduced himself as Ijichi. He seemed polite, but he was distracted with something on his phone, so he left you all alone as soon as you had gotten into your room. Your room was empty, with a single bed, a table and a closet. A door led you to a small bathroom, with some necessities. It wasn't anything bad, and you would take some time to decorate it. Brought with you, was two large bags of your belongings, clothes and your favorite plushies. Stuffing your hand into your pocket, you pulled out your earphones to play some music before you started packing up your bags.
It had been what seemed like forever when you were finally finished with the most important things. The few pieces of clothing you had brought with you were now pridefully hanging in the small wardrobe, your shoes standing underneath. You had hung up a few posters, and placed your figurines and plushies in separate places. On your wooden desk you had placed your jewelry box, filled with your favorite earrings and necklaces. Carefully, everything had been put into its place. Objects of importance were supposed to be treated as such, was what you always believed.
Your thoughts were interrupted by an abrupt knock on your door. Looking up, you told the guest they were allowed to enter your room. It was Ijichi, who had come back to tell you that dinner was ready and you were finally going to be introduced to your peers. You told him you'd be ready in just a minute. As he was leaving, you called out his name. "Ijichi-sensei, wait!" He turned around with a polite smile on his face. "Sorry, I just wanted to ask you directions to where dinner is..." You smiled sheepishly, and were given directions while hoping that you'd remember them and not get lost in this giant school.
The rest of the evening was a blur. The amount of new impressions was large. You enjoyed listening to the other first year students ramble on about how they enjoyed things thus far. There were two young men who seemed to contrast each other. One was bright with positivity and loved to talk about anything and everything. He had light pink hair, and when he introduced himself as Itadori Yuuji, he seemed almost a little shy. The other had dark hair, an expressionless face and didn't say as much. Though, he did give you a small, polite smile as he introduced himself as Fushiguro Megumi. Lastly, there was another young woman in the group. She seemed a bit more closed off than the others, mostly because she scoffed at most the things Itadori said. Though, when Itadori was engrossed in his food or focused on telling a story, you noticed she wore a small smile on her face, silently enjoying the positivity he radiated. You were nervous, and they all were understanding about it. Especially Kugisaki Nobara, who when she introduced herself made sure to compliment you and reassure you that she would help guide you around the school the next day. At the end of the dinner, you wore a small smile as well as a blush on your face. There was something about Itadori's self-awareness, Fushiguro's small smiles and Kugisaki's screeching voice when she felt as if the boys had crossed a line. It gave you hope, and you almost began thinking optimistically once more before you quickly banished the thought.
Bidding your farewells in the corridor, you walked to your room in a daze. This time you noticed who was in front of you before the same mistake happened once again. Your sensei sat on the bottom of the staircase, with bandage wrapped hands and his black blindfold off. His eyes were closed, but you knew he was aware of your presence. "Are you alright, Gojo-sensei?" He seemed almost surprised when the words left your mouth, opening his eyes and looking at you. The sight of his eyes was captivating. His white, long eyelashes slowly blinking up at you, and his light blue eyes which almost seemed to be glimmering. He smiled at you, pinching his cheeks into a smile. "Of course, a little fight never hurt Gojo!" His way of talking was entertaining, and you smiled back at him. "Let me walk you to your room," Gojo continued, "You don't want the hell-houndo to find you here!" His english pronunciation made you giggle, and you started walking together. "I want to know more about you, Gojo-sensei." This time your voice was almost a whisper, but yet he seemed to hear it. His body stiffened for a slight second as you arrived outside your door. "Who doesn't." Rolling your eyes with a slight smile on your face, you said good night and closed your door. Standing in the darkness, you replayed the moment that just had happened. Your chest was carrying an unusual feeling, and you couldn't exactly pin it. Before you drifted into unconsciousness, the last thing you were able to think of was, "Hell-houndo".
