I'm so sorry I haven't updated guys, I've been juggling work last summer and school just started oh and to add stress with my boyfriend. Anyways enjoy this chapter I'll try and update soon. Also have a great christmas everyone.

"Well well well what do we have here?" Ruby says with a smug smirk, "Its not what it looks like Ruby" I say in a rushed tone."Well it looks like you two have the hots for each other and were sucking face" My cheeks become beet red as i look down at Autumn who looks down at Ruby. "Ruby what do you want?" She asks with a bored tone. "What i want is Caden, " I raise my eyebrow, "Or what?" I  ask challenging her. "Or i go out there and tell Brody what you two were doing." She states with an annoying grin plastered on her face but Autumns next move makes her smile fall fast. "Thats not exactly a threat because ill go tell him myself if youd like" My mouth gapes open at her response; "W-well ill tell Amanda!" Autumn gives her the 'are you seriously using that as a threat?' look as for me on the other hand is freaking out, "Okay ill do it" They both look at me like im insane.

"Seriously?!"

"What the fuck are you on?"

They both say at the same time, "Yeah ill do it, but for how long do you want this to go on for?" I ask her; she claps her hands together in joy to my response. "Maybe until i get tired of seeing your face" She smiles lighting up nothing but herself, "Okay im going back out there with my man toy" "Hey Caden can we talk for a second?" Raising a brow i question her next action that is until im being pulled over to the side where Ruby cant hear or see.

"Um one question what the hell are you doing? And you do realize that i was totally bluffing and slightly panicking hoping that Ruby wouldnt actually test my actions!" She whisper/screams at me.  "Seriously? Well i mean if you were why do you even care? Ill just go out with her just in case she does try something and than when she gets tired of me she'll drop me and than we have one less person to worry about ." He forehead scrunches as she processes what i had just said. "Fine go whatever" she says back to her normal bored tone, feeling a  yanking on my arm i quickly follow along not giving Autumn a second glance.

"Okay so maybe i drank a little to much" Autumn slurs her words while holding onto Brodys arm like her life depended on it. Laughing as he pushes her hair out of her face; she smiles up at him making my chest clench. 'Why cant i be the one she looks at like that?' Feeling a hand slide up my arm i look to my left and see Ruby trace my veins with her nails. "Caden maybe you can drive me home, I've had a little too much to drink tonight." Nodding my head I help her up, "Uh guys I'm gonna drive Ruby home I'll be back. Hey Brody you want me to drop you off too or can you manage?" He helps Autumn up as he nods his head. "Yeah I'm coming, I'll just pick up my car tomorrow; let me just say bye. I'll meet you outside." Nodding my head I grab Ruby's hand leading her outside. Getting into the car i hear a gasp looking over at her she's looking frantically for something. "What happened?" I ask concerned.

"I left my purse can you get it for me?" Groaning I get out the car and walk back into the house.

"I love you baby" I overhear Brody say.
"I love you too, get home safe okay?" Guessing Brody nodded I walk into the living room. Where their both standing and spot Rubys bag.

"Sorry to interrupt, Ruby forgot her purse" I utter as I walk around them and reach for it.

"No problem man, you ready?" Nodding my head I walk outside and back into the car.

"What's your address Ruby?"

"1789 willroad ave." She says as I feel her hand reach for mine, instantly pulling away I sense her looking at me as if daring me to try and deny her affection or else she'll open her mouth to Brody.

"How long have you guys been official?" I hear from Brody in the back seat. "An hour" I answer plainly, my mind recapping everything that happened in the kitchen between me and Autumn. Her lips, her soft skin.

"Caden?" Unaware of the question being asked.

"Yeah what?" I answer annoyed.

"We're here pull in to the driveway" Ruby says in an annoyed tone removing her hand from mine. "Oh I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention." I apologize honestly.

"Well thanks for a good night guys see you guys at school" She leans in for a kiss, internally groaning I lean in and kiss her for what felt like eternity. "Okay love birds break it up I have to get in the front seat Ruby get out." Brody says jokingly.

"Goodnight Caden" She says seductively. Rolling my eyes as I watch her leave I pull out of the driveway and look over at Brody who's smiling like a middle school boy in love.

"What are you so cheery about?" I ask, "Nothing" waiting for his next response we drive in silence.

"Its just Autumn man, i really like her dude. The way our hands fit perfectly with each other, the way my heart clenches when i hear her voice, how she is in bed" i feel him nudge my arm and i sense him winking.  "The way her eyes light up when i take her to her favorite restaurant

"Georges" we both say at the same time. "Oh she told you how much she loved that place?" He asks me with curious eyes. "Yeah i mean I've heard her and Amanda speak about it a couple of times."

"Well this is me, ill see you at school bro thanks for the lift" he says while exiting the car. "Yeah" i say while driving away, a part of me wants to tell him what happened but i know that it could jeopardize our friendship and Brody has been my best friend since 2nd grade. Can i really let a girl get in the way of that?
