lukifer couldn’t put a name to it. If asked, he would not be able to tell anyone what the cause of this dreadful feeling was. All he knew was he felt miserable.

His bones felt heavy and he really just did not want to get up. The soft comforter wrapped around his lanky frame, his face stuffed into the white pillows trying to blind himself from the sun peering through the curtains.

He felt as though he could melt into the fabric of comforting warmth, the soft melody of bees outside and gentle breeze filling the small bedroom.

lukifer grunted softly, rolling onto his back with slight struggle. Muscles in his arms shocking him with clear displeasure at the motion. Blinking slowly, his eyes opened a bit scanning over his surroundings. Everything was slightly foggy, though he could pick up the slight dust floating around the room.

He was fully prepared to just close his eyes again and sleep away the rest of the day, no care of what would come from it now. That was a job for a future lukifer to deal with, and boy was he ready to pass all that to his future self.

Until fate had other plans. Soft knocking was heard, faint sure but enough to cause an irck to run through the man. Of all times for people to bother him, why now?

He sighed, pushing himself up into a sitting position. The red comforter sliding off him, though catching slightly on his shoulder before.

A wave of nausea waved over him, his vision being clouded with little black dots. “Fuckin’ Hell..” lukifer muttered, forcing himself to stand and shake off the feeling. Someone was at the door and for all he knew it was some asshole who wanted to cause issues.

That was ninety percent of his home visits anyways. Stumbling across the spruce wood floors, that creaked slightly beneath the new weight on it, lukifer grabbed the hilt of his sword. It felt heavier than normal.

Well that was odd. He shrugged a bit and gripped it tightly, his palms were unusally sweaty causing the grip to feel too loose. lukifer brushed it off, his mind too fogged over to really care, he just was glad he had it as he turned the handle of his room and opened his door.

lukifer had to hold onto the railing as he slowly descended down the staircase from his room to the main floor, inhaling deeply as to steady himself.

Why was he so unbalanced today?

It felt like the world had just turned off its axis, everything felt so wrong. “Ugh..” groaning he slowly pushed open the door that led to the flower room, or entrance room if were being techinical, and just about shit himself. There stood Persephone, who clearly looked just as startled as him. His eyes grew bug eyed, and little bursts of fires appeared along some of his exposed skin.

“Perse!”

“lukifer! You’re on fire!” Her voice was slightly raised in worry and shock, it made his head hurt despite it being genuinely only a little bit louder than her normal soft voice.

He glanced down at his arm and frantically put it out, “ah shit- sorry perse..” His voice sounded hoarse, almost like he had just smoked a pack of cigarettes for the first time. Persephone furrowed her eyebrows, studying him with a puzzled look. His curls fell loosely and wildy, his eyes squinted and face all flushed. His shoulders were awkwardly slouch and the grip on his sword was all wrong, even she could easily sweep it from him and she was pure shit at hand to hand combat. “lukifer are you..alright?” Her tone switched to one that reminded him of a mothers, which felt a bit belittling. She was eight years younger than him for heavens sake and she was looking at him like he was a meer child.

“Im fine perse, dont worry.” he sighed softly leaning against the doorway, setting his sword on a tilt against the wall. Persephone reached forward, raising herself onto her toes, her small cold hand pressing against his cheek. She clicked her tongue, lowering down so she was flat footed, crossing her arms with a triumphiant smirk. “Fine huh? You’re burning up even worse than normal lukifer and you’re posture is simply dreadful.”
