The ringing in my ears and the pulses in my blood were hypnotising me. It felt like I couldn't control anything. "The button." I moaned. I reached for it. I picked it up and smashed it on the ground. Better. Finally able to tell left from right I got up. The killer was on the ground. A bullet in his stomach. That last shot... There was no way I could explain the look on everyone's faces. Might as well have a spot light beaming down on me from above. "Rory... What the hell was that?" Everyone said basically in unison. Sigh. I rose my hand, palm facing up. A holographic image screen appeared. "Menu" the screen read. "It's a microchip... Advanced and strong enough to emitt a blue shield around my body, making me temporarily invulnerable." A kid punched me and he was sent flying back. Damnit. Again.. Those undescribable faces. I selected my outfit on the menu screen. A grey cloak appeared on me, over my clothes. A gun and carrier appeared on my waist. I walked towards the door only to be knocked back by a handful of more 'killers'. I wasn't sure how I was going to defend all of the students and terminate them.. I did the only I thought could work. I pushed the killers into the hallway and took the battle there.
