One.

Jimin's POV

It all started a few months ago. I already knew that you were cheating on me. All the sweet words, the kisses you stole from me every chance you got, the "I love you's" were replaced by lies. When you smiled at me, I can feel the uneasiness behind it.

I never confronted you instead I started doubting myself wondering if I did something wrong to make you fall out of love for me. 'Should I let you go? Will I be able to handle myself when you're gone?' I thought.

"Will you come home tonight?"

"No, I need to finish the song I'm working on. I'll be staying at Namjoon's." Another lie. Of course I knew Jin and Namjoon are on a trip. I cried myself to sleep.

Next morning, I woke up later than usual. I'm not sure if Yoongi came home since he was not there when I woke up. So, I decided to meet my bestfriend today.

Author's POV

"Chim, why don't you break up with him?" Taehyung sighed for the nth time.
"But I love him, Tae" Jimin said sobbing.

"He's cheating on you, Jimin" He said softly.

"Jimin hyung, just break up with him already. You don't deserve this. Yoongi hyung is having fun with someone else and you're the one suffering." Jeongguk joined their conversation.

"I don't know what to do. I don't think I can live without him. H-He's my everything." Jimin said fat tears rolling down his cheeks.

"For how long are you gonna do this? Even if you pretend that you don't know, at the end you are the one that's gonna get hurt. It's in your hands if you will suffer or break up with him and find someone who will actually make you happy." Taehyung said angrily.

"I-I gave him e-everything I had. I don't want to give up on us." Taehyung rolled his eyes. His was so done with his bestfriend.

"Listen Jiminie, it takes effort from both sides for a relationship to work. You're giving it your all but he is not even making any efforts. Yes, it will hurt but if you don't stop this you will get hurt for the rest of your life." Taehyung reasoned out.

"Tae is right. Yoongi hyung is cheating on you and it's clear as daylight. And who knows maybe he is waiting for you to leave first?" Jungkook said. He took in what Jungkook said.

Yoongi is not his anymore. Sometimes your heart needs more time to accept what your mind already knows. He cried on Tae's shoulders as Jungkook rubs his back to calm him.

He returned to his and Yoongi's shared apartment feeling drained. Maybe his friends were right. He made his way inside the living room and sat on the couch letting his tears fall freely. He didn't bother to turn the lights on. He cried the whole night and didn't realized when he fell asleep.

Next morning, Jimin woke up to the sound of door creaking. Yoongi had finally returned home. He saw how puffy Jimin's eyes were. There was a long moment of silence before Jimin sighed. "For how long?" He directly came to the point guessing that Yoongi had already gotten the idea of what was going on.

"Almost half a year." He replied. Jimin couldn't stop his tears anymore.

"I was planning to tell you-" He tried to explain but Jimin shook his head. "Did you ever loved me?" He tried hard not to stutter.

"Yes, I did love you." He replied but Jimin already ran to their room crying. After some time, Jimin came out with his luggage.

"I'm sorry if I did anything wrong. A-And I sorry for loving you." And with that he left. Yoongi didn't try to stop him just watching him leave.

Maybe it's for the best......

He headed towards his car and put the luggage in the trunk. Jimin reached to Taehyung's apartment safely despite the blurring of his sight due to the tears. He rang the doorbell. Taehyung came afterwards and was worried to see Jimin with his luggage. Jungkook also came out from the kitchen towards them. "Who is it, Tae?" He asked. "Oh, Jimin hyung! Why are you standing at the door. Come inside." He said.

"I broke up with him." Jimin whispered. Taehyung and Jungkook's eyes softened. They went both hugged him from side. "It's gonna be fine. You'll get through it." Taehyung said softly.

"Can I stay here until I find a new apartment?" He said staring at the ground. "Of course, you can stay here as long as you want." Jungkook spoke.
