Chapter One

Her cafe uniform at the top and Angelina on the cover .

I stretch getting out of bed, I see the sun peaking through my

window.walk to window throwing open the curtains,opening the

window. I let my skin soak in the warmth of the sun and the wind

through my hair. It was the first day of summer, I had my first job today,

I was still waiting on my car to be fix in the shop so I would have to

hitch a ride with Emily,Emily was my boss, she was the manager of the

bakery, she had to pass my house in order to get to the cafe. The

bakery/cafe was called mocha sweets, the name sounds weird but so is

the owner but you know I don't judge.I have been wanting to work there

since I graduated from high school three months ago, I shook myself out

of my day dream. I walked in to my closet look for my uniform. My

apartment was enormous, my parent are very well off so they pay for it

but I don't like the feeling so that's why I took this job to help pay.The

apartment had 2 bedroom conjoined my a bathroom that could be enter

from both sides and then there was another bathroom and half. The

kitchen was very spacious, that were I spent most of time the past three

months cooking up all sorts of things.The living room had very thing too

a DVD,flat screen tv and nice speakers. The apartment was the only one

on the top floor so it had a balcony all the way around except you

couldn't access it from the bathroom in between my room and the guest

bedroom it had a great view either way.The balcony held a stereo and

some lounge chair on the living room side and a glass table with some

vintage chairs on the kitchen side.The wall between the two room sat a

love seat with two lamps on each side. After getting my clothes I walked

into the bathroom to shower,the bathroom and a jacuzzi and a marble

shower with a glass door. I hopped into the shower and turned on the

warm water, I stayed in there for while, then I got out and put on my

uniform.The uniform it look like something straight out of an anime, the

socks were white and reached right above my knees and ruffled at the

end, I had to wear a baby blue slip with a short petticoat that had ruffles

above the chest with a small bow and ruffled arm holes.The outer dress

hugged under my chest showing off my waist and the strap went on each

side of my chest and had ruffle also on the straps.I had to wear heels that

also tied up above my ankle and had ruffle on the edge of the opening

and gloves,then my apron. It seem like a handful to put on but it not that

bad,I then head in to the elevator which is my door out of the building.

You had to have a key to reach my floor so no one could get in my

apartment. I finally reached the lobby and greet the desk attendant.

Walking out the door I saw Emily just arriving to get me, I got in her

car, well her to a good first day. "Hey sweet, how are you this

morning?"Emily asked, "Good,thank you just very hungry I was

planning on eating but then decide I need to pick up a bit causing me to

forget" I said while scratching my neck. After that we stop at micky D's

for mcmuffin for me to eat and then head to the cafe.
