When The Tears Fall With The Rain
By AlaishaViolet

"Can someone explain to me, what is the meaning of love?" Ms. Vergara asked to us while raising her both eyebrows. She looked at us one by one waiting for someone to answer her question. I just kept quiet, also waiting for someone to answer our teacher's question.

"What is love?" I asked myself as if my heart and mind will answer that question. I bit my lower lip, stopping myself not to cry. I don't know what the meaning of that is because I've never felt love since before.

My gazed turned to Eliza, my classmate. She raised her right hand and stood up confidently. "For me, the love is kind of most intense feelings to a person without limitations, boundaries, and conditions. Just like my family, they always support and care me because they loved me. I'm so lucky to have them, they always cheering me up when I felt sad or down," she answered and gave us a sweet smile.

"Hey, are you okay?" I looked at Xevi when he asked me. There was a look of concern on his face. I adjusted my seat and then forced a smile while nodding.
I still can't forget what Eliza said earlier. I admit I envy her because there is a family that loves her while I am? No one loves me.

"Yes, why?" I asked curiously. He just leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. "I know, you're not okay," he hissed.

"If so, why did you even ask if you also know?" He was stunned by my question as I stared at him. My lips curved into smile by what he did. He is Xevi Reid Monte Hermosa, my friend. We have been friends for a long time since High school. We became friends when I defeated him in a contest I participated in. He voluntarily approached me and made friends. I was wondering because someone like him who was rich wanted to be friends with me. No one even wants to make friends or even talk to me.

He knows me but not who I really am...

He laughed and says, "Yeah, right."

He knows only my name but not my story...

After we ate at cafeteria Xevi immediately drove me to the convenience store where I work. I thanked him and we bid our goodbyes.

"Hi, Mr. Wishes," I greeted my boss when I stepped inside the convenient store.

He glared at me with an irritated face. I laughed slightly as I walked towards him and tapped his shoulder. He knew I would tease him. "How's your day with your ex-girlfriend, boss?" I asked teasingly, tried not to laugh when I saw his face annoyed because of what I've said to him.

"C'mon, Patience! Stop ruining my day!" he snapped and walked away. I know her ex-girlfriend never showed up again. He invited her to eat at the restaurant. I don't know why he even asked me for help on how to court a woman. Because he does not know how to court and I admit he has been stupid for a long time.

"Boss! I have another tip on how to court woman. Do you want to know?" I smirked when he stopped walking and turned around to me with his irritated looked.

"You are just giving me a tips and it doesn't even affect her! She didn't even accept the rose I gave her!" He pulled out his own hair in anger. I gulped and walked over him.

"If you really love her, say it to her. You don't have to give her a lot of chocolates and roses just to allow you to court her again. Because if I am are the one you are courting, I would rather you make me feel your love than give me a rose and chocolate..." I said in a serious tone and averted my gazes.

"...but, it depends on her. I gave you this because you asked it for. I just want to help you to win her back. All you need is patience and faith. It is not easily to move on, boss. You hurt her and you know it is your fault," I continued.
