A New Nightmare Begins{Devil May Cry x RWBY Crossover}

Prologue

{A/n: Hey everyone Roach here with a new story. I hope you guys enjoy it! DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own RWBY or Devil May Cry!}

Team CFVY were currently fighting a large horde of strange monsters that have appeared out of an eerie red portal that appeared out of nowhere. The monsters that came through were nothing like Grimm though as these creatures had several different looks and types that all seemed evil. Team CFVY was doing everything they could to protect the village they were staying at. They had came to this village to thin out a pack of beowolves that were roaming the nearby area. "There's just to many and we can't kill them fast enough!?" Yatsu said as he slammed his sword into another one of the creatures. "Just keep attacking! If we go down the village will be completely destroyed!" Coco said as she continued to use her minigun to blast the monsters though her rounds barely did damage to them. Fox was avoiding attacks the best he could and attacking when he could but Fox was having a very hard time. Velvet on the other hand was barely doing any damage and had burned out of her hard light copy photos about 5 to 10 minutes ago. Velvet was barely dodging any attacks  now as she was getting tired and that's when she was struck by a rushing monster wielding to giant meat clever like blades and she hit the ground. The creature then let out a roar and lifted one of its blades above it's head and prepared to swing it down onto her. 

Velvet's eyes went wide and filled with fear but suddenly team CFVY heard the sound of a motorcycle and that's when a man wearing a red coat riding a motorcycle came flying trough the portal and slammed into the monster about to attack Velvet. The monster's head was torn apart by the wheel of the motorcycle and it's lifeless body fell to the ground. The motorcycle then landed on the ground and slid to a stop and that's when team CFVY got a better look at him. The man had white like the hair color of the Schnee family and blue eyes. He seemed to be a few years older then team CFVY possibly around 20 to 23 years old and he was wearing a red coat and wearing a navy blue shirt underneath it, navy blue pants, with black boots and black fingerless gloves. He was wearing a smirk on his face as he looked at them and the monsters before he spoke. "Well it seems I've found quite the party! I hope you guys don't mind me crashing it!" He said confusing team CFVY. "You do realize what's going on right?" Fox nearly yelled from the stress of this fight. "Eh! Don't worry about it! Small fry like these won't take to long to get rid of!" The mysterious man said as he got off the motorcycle and the motorcycle disappeared into thin air. Who the hell is this guy to call these things small fry? We were barely holding our own against them! Coco thought to herself.

The man then held out his right hand and a large sword materialized out of flames and team CFVY were shocked by the look of the blade and the fact he was basically holding a blade the same size as Yatsu's in one hand and moving it around like it's nothing. The man then immediately started attacking the monsters and was making easy work of them. Two of the monsters that were the same type as the one that nearly killed Velvet attacked the man from two different directions and both swung their blades at him one aiming for his neck and the other aiming for his waist but the man jumped into the air and spun in the air going right between the two blades before landing and pulling out two pistols. One was silver and the other was black but both were pointed at the heads of the monsters that had just attacked him. He squeezed the triggers of the pistols and the bullets flew out the pistols barrels and into the monster's heads blowing their heads apart and spraying blood and matter everywhere. He then started shooting several of the other creatures killing several of them with ease. Team CFVY stood there in shock as in 10 to 15 minutes this one man had wiped out all the creatures that were attacking them with a mixture of melee weapons and guns.

The ground was stained with the blood of the creatures and the man seamed to be closing the mysterious portal. "Who the hell is this guy?!" Fox said and Yatsu crossed his arms. "I'm not sure but even though he appears to be human something tells me that's not the case." Yatsu explained and Fox nodded. "Well for now we should go thank him and introduce ourselves. After all he did just save us!" Coco said and her teammates nodded and the four of them walked over to him. The guy looked at them and Coco started speaking. "I want to thank you on behalf of my team. We were in a real tight spot there and were nearly killed until you showed up." Coco said to him and he shrugged it off. "Don't worry about it! It was no big deal." He replied and Velvet stepped forward blushing lightly. "No! I would have died if it wasn't for you! So thank you for saving my life!" Velvet said to him and he just stared at her in silence for a split second before nodding. "Oh well you're welcome!" The man replied. "So you came through that portal too. Do those things live in the world you come from?" Fox asked him and he shook his head. "No. That portal led to the Demon world. I just happened to be in the Demon World around where the portal opened up at." He explained. "Demon world?" Coco asked and he nodded. "Yes. It's where all demons are from and they prey on Humans, Though from what it appears I don't know if they've ever appeared in this world." He explained and team CFVY were confused but if they didn't fight and see these creatures with their own eyes they probably wouldn't have believed him.

"Well I'm Coco Adel and these are my teammates." Coco said motioning to the three standing behind her. "I'm Yatsuhashi Daichi." Yatsu said. "I'm Velvet Scarlatina." Velvet said blushing slightly as she looked at the man who saved her. "And I'm Fox Alistair. It's a pleasure to meet you!" Fox said and he nodded. "So what's your name?" Fox asked and the man smiled at them. "The names Dante!" He said and they nodded. I think things here have gotten a lot more difficult now! Coco thought to herself.
