A New Nightmare Begins{Devil May Cry x RWBY Crossover}

Chapter 2

{A/n: Hey everyone Roach here with another chapter. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own RWBY or Devil May Cry!}

A few weeks after Dante showed up at Beacon Academy the new students that will be attending Beacon Academy were arriving on board several Airships. "So according to Ozpin your brother is here too, Right?" Yang asked Vergil as the three left the airship. Vergil nodded and looked at Ruby and Yang. "Yes according to the message your father got from him. Dante showed up with a team of second year students from this Academy a few weeks ago." Vergil said and Yang and Ruby nodded. "Then I wonder where he's at?" Ruby said looking around. "I don't know but if he's Vergil's brother I'm sure he's going to standout!" Yang added as she looked around for him as well. That's when Professor Goodwitch walked over to them. "You three need to come with me." She said to them and they nodded and followed her to Ozpin's office where Dante and team CFVY were as well. Yang, Ruby, and team CFVY were all surprised to find out that Dante and Vergil were in fact twin brothers. "Thank you for coming everyone." Ozpin said and they nodded. "No problem Headmaster but what is this about?" Coco asked him and Ozpin interlaced his fingers and looked at them. "Simple. I'd like for all of you to keep the demon appearances a secret and not tell anyone about any of it!" Ozpin explained and Yang raised an eyebrow. "Yeah I can keep it a secret but why?" Yang asked. "How do you think people would react if they found out monsters that not even Huntsmen could take down easily were running rampant on Remnant?" Ozpin asked and Yang's eyes went wide when she realized this. "They'd probably panic." She said and Ozpin nodded.

"Exactly!" Ozpin said as Velvet spoke up. "But I don't get why they just started showing up now!" Velvet said and Vergil stepped forward. "That would be my fault!" Vergil said and Dante looked at him confused. "What are you talking about Vergil?" Dante asked him. "The Qliphoth tree I grew back home weakened the the barriers that kept this world separate from the demon world!" Vergil explained to Dante and Dante nodded while rubbing his chin. "I see but I still don't get how the Demon World is connected to this world!" Dante said and everyone else nodded as well. "The Demon world is a realm in between Realms and most of the time it is only open to our world!" Vergil explained and Ruby raised her hand. "Uhh Vergil I'm sorry but uhh you kind of lost me there!" She said meekly and Vergil nodded. "Then let me make it simple. Imagine a large house in your head filled with hallways and doors to several rooms." Vergil started and everyone listened to what he was saying. "Now let's say that the demon world is the hallway in the house and OUR world is one of the rooms and this world is a different room." Vergil explained and everyone nodded now starting to understand what he was saying. "Now normally the demon world could only go into our world as the doors to your world is locked but as doors often do the door to your world became unlocked granting the demons of the demon world access to your world!" Vergil explained and everyone nodded now understanding what he was saying.

"And this has to do with the Qliphoth how?" Dante asked and Vergil looked at him but before he could reply Ozpin spoke up. "What is this Qliphoth tree?" Ozpin asked and Vergil looked at him. "The Qliphoth is a giant demonic tree that grows in the Demon World and, when sufficiently nourished, grows a fruit that imbues any demon that consumes it with divine power. Only one fruit can grow every few thousand years." Vergil explained and everyone was shocked by this. "I believe that when the tree was created it weakened the lock keeping demons out of your world and now that the lock is gone Demons can enter your world more freely!" Vergil explained and they nodded as Ozpin had a solemn look on his face and was probably deep in thought. Dante walked over to Vergil and patted his back. "So this really is your fault huh?" Dante said and Vergil looked at him annoyed. "You don't have to say it like that Dante!" He said before shrugging off his hand and walking over to Ozpin's desk. "As this is my fault I shall stay to take care of the demons and to keep as many humans from losing their lives to demons as possible!" Vergil explained and Dante walked over. "And I'll be staying too!" Dante added and Ozpin nodded. "Thank you! That is really appreciated but what about your old world?" Ozpin asked and Dante smiled. "Oh don't worry about that! We entrusted someone to keep an eye on things on that side!" Dante said and he nodded. "I see. Very well then." Ozpin said smiling. "Well you should all get going or you're going to be late for the orientation!" Ozpin said and they nodded and left.
