"Beep! Beep! Beep!"
I woke up to the alarm clock my mom gave me, since she was sick ad tired of dragging me out of bed in the morning. I wish I had a hammer. I turned it off, and went back to sleep. As soon as my eyes rested, they instantly shot open and I threw myself up. Today Bruce was coming. "Crap!" I speeded through my blue dress and did my hair, than ran down stairs into the car. I couldn't miss today. I have to know who this mysterious kid is. I HAVE TO. Maybe like Ethan, she's a girl with a boy's name. I sure hope that's the case. I wish Carson said more about him... Or her.
Although I loved Friday, it dragged on really slowly. I think it did for everyone else too, because they all looked tired and excited at the same time by the time we all gathered around Jay's freakishly huge van. Even Carson looked tired and slumped over me, But after five seconds as if a miracle happened, he came back to life and smacked his hands together, getting everyone's attention. "We have snacks in Jay's van due to the fact that it will take us two hours to get there. If you have to go to the bathroom, go now." We all went, even Carson, and piled into the van, but before we did Ethan asked, "Hey Carson. You knew us for only a month and you're taking us to meet this random stranger you said almost nothing about?" He looked at her and smiled. "It doesn't matter how long your friendship is. It doesn't have to be a million years."
Jay drove, since she was a junior and had a drivers license, and Phoebe sat in shotgun, while Ethan sat in the middle, and me and Carson sat in the back row. Carson was offered shotgun, but wanted to sit by me, and boy was that not a surprise. So he gave it to Phoebe, leaving Ethan mumbling about why she didn't get shotgun. As soon as the van wheezed and purred the van went. The van swung us all foward, left and right, and since the back wasn't as spacious, Carson and I almost crushed each other every life threatening turn Jay's van went. The van was loud with music and conversation, yet I couldn't leave my eyes open. After a while the turns became softer, and I was swerving with the car, as if I was being rocked like in a cradle. I was wondering with direction I should pass out. Carson noticed me. He patted on his shoulder. I refused, yet a small piece of me wanted to lay on his shoulder with the soft fabric of his red shirt and nap. "C'mon Paisley Rose, I know you want to." He smirked. He was seriously annoying. Soon I gave up and layed on his shoulder, which was way softer than I thought. Probably because he wore a long sleeved white shirt underneath, making his shoulder more plush. I fell into a deep sleep.
"We're here!!" I woke up with a bolt seeing Phoebe jumping up and down screaming, and Carson poking my cheek. "Wake up sleepyhead. We're here." I reluctantly got up, and realized that I fell from his shoulder while sleeping to his lap, but I was too tired to show or even be embarrassed. We walked inside the huge building and there were hundreds of people. "This brings back so many memories..." Ethan admired the big 1945 airplane hanging from the ceiling. She said that she came here as an immigrant from Britain 11 years ago.  "So cool..." I slowly said, staring at the model airplane on the ground. We were lucky Jay was here, because if she wasn't, we would've totally forgotten why we were even here, and wondered off into the mysterious wonderland. "34B, 34B...where the hell is it?" She looked irritated. Suddenly Ethan jumped up and down. "Barmy, there it is! 34B straight ahead!" We ran over there, with excitement showing on our faces. Carson told us to stay put, at the end saying "I wish I didn't have to leave you, Paisley." Dramatically and left, with the others giggling and me embarrassed. Now I know why he's in drama club, which I start in three weeks. Then Carson ran back here, with another kid. He was taller than Carson, with freakish muscles, loose button up shirt and red shorts with torn up flip flops. His hair was long enough to be a really small pony tail and had blue eyes. He looked like a surfer. "Guys..." Carson said excitingly. "This is Bruce. He'll be staying with us in California from now on. He's a junior like Jay." In a deep Australian accent, he said, "Bro. Look how cute this little girl is." He had to bend his knees to reach Phoebe's height, and rubbed her head till her curls got messy. "What's your name little dude?" he asked kindly. She beamed. "I'm Phoebe! I'm a sophomore at Earnchester High!" Bruce froze. He stayed like that for a while and slowly inched away to Carson. "That girl...that 10 year old looking girl..." I walked up to Bruce. "Yep, she's 15. She's gonna be 16 in May." I added. "Oh! I apologize! I didn't see you guys..." Bruce stammered and even flailed a bit. I tried to hold a smile. It seemed convincing, since I was an actress after all. Well, at least it convinced him. Although I only met him for a few seconds, I immediately knew one thing. He was gonna be an idiot. "I'm Paisley Rose, this is Jay, and you know Phoebe and Carson..." But he wasn't looking at me, he was looking at Ethan. Ethan had a black dress on with a red crop top, yet despite the colors she didn't look emo or goth. In fact, she looked like...well, Ethan. Her hair was also kinda messy. Bruce whispered to Carson, "Oi. Who's that chick over there?" Ethan walked off, and I barely heard what he said. "Oh her? That's Ethan. She's an immigrant from Britain." Carson beamed at him. He walked over to Ethan, leaving her surprised. "Hello Ethan..." Bruce said while daydreaming. Carson came to me and whipped his arm around me. "H-how did you know my name?!" Ethan almost yelled, because she was more uncertain than scared, and did a ninja pose, attempting to scare him. "Um... Shouldn't we help them?..." Carson looked at me and smiled a calm smile. "No, they're just fine..." Soon after Ethan started talking to him excitingly with big arm movements and jumping, while Bruce joined her. Everyone was staring at them, but they didn't care. I felt calm yet excited just looking at them, and looking at Carson, he did too. "...just fine, Paisley Rose."
