Chapter 6

Nobody's POV

Batman had just hopped put of his Batwing, Landing in Crime Alley. the alley seems to trigger some of his memories, such as the time he lost his parents, and.... the time he gained a son. he remembers walking up to the bat mobile to see two of it's tires missing. he thought of it as unreal, but then he saw a kid stand up from the other side of the bat mobile holding a tire iron. he seemed surprised to see that it was a little kid that did it. The kid saw Batman and froze after dropping the tire iron. Batman gave a small laugh which seemed to scare the child before Batman approached him and asked if he was hungry. The kid was Y/N Todd, the son he gained from this alley. after watching the memory he gave a little smile before losing it when he heard him.

Red Hood: Hello.

Dick Grayson was also watching through the cameras when Batman turned towards Red Hood. It began to rain as lighting flashed on sight of Red Hood.

Red Hood: So glad you could make it.

Batman: This ends tonight. All of it.

Y/N POV

Y/N: Nobody knows that better than me.

In less then a second I threw six throwing stars toward Batman, he reacted quick and jumped over them landing behind the dumpster. I charged towards his direction. He seemed to have sent the dumpster flying towards me, I had jumped over it only to get my legs wrapped by his grapple line and slam me into the ground.

Y/N: Ha. Oh, you and your gadgets.

In quick session I pulled out my knife and taser, I quickly pin the line to the ground and cut it right as the taser made contact to it, in order not to shock myself, electricity shot up the line at a instantly, shocking Batman. 

Y/N: You're not the only one with toys.

I said this as I rolled out of the rest of the line, and started running at batman only for him to throw explosives at me, that wasn't planned for, better adapt.

Y/N: Crap.

I am launched towards the side of the building, which i stuck to by stabbing my knife into it. I wasn't expecting him to use explosives so early on, but it wasn't exactly surprising, it just caught me off guard. I jumped to the other wall and started to climb the fire escape. Batman started to climb after me. once we got to the top he tackled me, giving me the opportunity to stab the knife into the roof through his cap pinning him. He tried to go for a punch but could reach do to his cape. I got a few punches in before he cut a bit of his cape to free himself and get into a knife fight after I jumped over him and grabbed my knife.

During our knife fight I cut off his utility belt, and i also cut a part of his cowl. He then tackled us to the churches roof. When we landed i dropped my knife and was laying on the ground. When he got closer I quickly shot up and grabbed his cowl, and ripped it off showing his identity, but it isn't anything that I didn't already know. 

Y/N: Look at you.

I tossed his cowl back after I check to make sure I was out of view, there was only one and it was pointed at Batman, it was only a video record so it wouldn't be able to hear our conversation

Y/N: I guess we should keep it even.

I released the pressure from my helmet, before taking it off and dropping it on the ground.

Batman: Y/N.

Y/N: Yes.

I'm glad he seems to remember, after all I was replaceable, but I am also his greatest failure, so i guess it is hard to forget.
