I woke up with an extremely sore body. My back ached from being pinned on the floor and left there- naked and bruised. Who would have thought that this is the secret life of Macy Black- fashion extraordinaire! Still numb, I barely managed to crawl over to my still unlocked phone. Apparently, its up to Jason to be a bit protective over me now- incase I might be cheating. Wouldn't dream of it babe! My heart laughs at the joke but my brain still hurts from the memories- or nightmares as I'd like to call them- from last night. Maybe I could down a couple drinks and forget this whole thing, but for now its off to work.

Grabbing my clothes, I change into a flowy mint top with a bow back tied together, black pea coat, Charlotte russe scarf, some ripped white skinny jeans, and black military boots with silver laces. To top it all off, I throw my hair into a simple up do bun, place a pair of Gucci sunglasses on my head, and ruffle the collar of my jacket up. I apply a light golden tone foundation under my cheekbones with some on my fore head, some simple clear lipgloss, and a semi- smokey eye shadow. Grabbing my now ready coffee that I had prepared when I woke up, I head out the door- there's no time to eat, and frankly I'm too stiff to do anything.

I breathe in the chilly air on this somewhat oddly cold day in London. At time like this, one would really wonder how their friends are doing; therefore, how is Liam doing? One can only wonder... Checking my phone, I make my way down the sidewalk towards the cafe to see if they have my sketchbook. My eyes never leave my phone, and pretty soon I'm almost falling to the ground before a pair of muscular arms grips me by the upper arms and saves me. I manage to drop my coffee which kills the mood, but I'm thankful this stranger saved me.

"Woah there!" He shouts while helping me up. "Sorry about your coffee... Macy?"

My eyes divert from the spilled over coffee up into his warm brown orbs. They glisten just like yesterday.

"Liam?" He laughs in astonished tone, and I can't say I blame him. I mean he's here!

"Yeah..." He chuckles. "I just came to the shoppe trying to catch you early before you went to work. I thought you'd be at the fountain but I just wanted to make sure- I have your sketchbook you left."

Placing it in my hands, I thank him, before his eyes travel to my neck. I feel rather confused at first, then become embarrassed with the situation. Not wanting to answer any questions, I prepare to make a speech why I'm late. Liam's eyes come from my neck and back into mine, they were filled with worry.

"Liam... I really must be going. I have work and much to do, but thank you." I try to give him a re-assuring smile while fleeing past him and onto work.

"Wait!" He calls from behind me. I squeeze my eyes shut while thinking of a thousand unmentionable words- just my luck. "Let me at least walk you."

Wow, that wasn't the reaction I was expecting at all. "Okay." I utter the words without even realizing it and it's too late because we have begun to make our way to my office.

---

The building was more busy than usual- models, extremely pissed off workers, questioning reporters- or paps as we like to put them- were running amuck. Life was awkward at this point- literally paper was flying in the air when we walked in.

"Wow... umm... this is... is a nice... llama." He stated awkwardly.

I turned around in extreme confusion with that 'Huh?' face on.

"Did you just say cookie?" My expression had literally not changed but the teasing in my voice was evident. Changing llama to cookie as a joke- comeon dude, that's a major turn on! Note my sarcasim...

Resuming his facial expression towards me, he calmly replied 'yep' with a monotone voice and continued viewing the erupting volcano ahead of us.

"Macy!" Great, just great. Lily Evans was approaching me with a frantic look- she just happened to my boss- or the devil herself- either name fits.

"Yes?" My expression was trying to be sincere, although I really perfered some coffee or hot tea to keep me up at this time.

"The building's going crazy!" She paused and all I could think of was: Oh, yeah, I didn't notice that! I thought that we had just had an circus practically running our office letting us do what ever the hell we want. Yeah, that makes sense.

"And...?"

"And, you need to finish getting your photos!"

Oh wow, that's nothing. "Yeah, I know. I'm going to finish them by Friday." Picking up a styrafoam cup, I walked over the the small sink in the kitchen area of our office and filled the cup with tap water- taking a small sip.

"No... by today!"

Que my spit take. "What?! By... today?! Are you crazy! That's impossible!"

"I don't care! Just get your ass out there and do it! Now. That's an order."

Sighing quietly, I walked over to throw my cup in the garbage and exit- following behind me Liam still remained.

"Why are you still here?" I asked bothersomely as I pressed the elevator button.

Turning around, I faced him with a stern look on my face, crossing my arms over my chest.

His eyes looked up at my eyes, then my neck, then my eyes again rather quickly- I knew what he was thinking.

"Well... I just wanted to make sure you got situated- although, I do believe I can help you with your work."

"I'm fine, thankyou."

He gave me a quizzical grin- yup, those are possible.

"I'm serious."

"I know... but you owe it to me."

Hold the fudge up! I owe him? I owe him..? What. Of course he noticed my confused expression because that's when his adorable laugh filled the room. Adorable? Thanks author, for implying words. No, his rather deep laugh.

"I brought your sketches back- or... I could just take it and make it look like I never found it..." He trailed.

OH, this boy was getting on my last nerves for the day- first, he looks at me like I just showed up from getting trampled on by a zillion elephants, next he follows me to the office, then he wants to help me with work? No, just no.

"Okay." I blurt after ranting all my thoughts. It's true, letting everything out really does help you get into a better mood. As we continued down the elevator, Liam began to hum and I couldn't help but smile at his cheery attitude. I wish I could feel that- that happiness...

Together we exited the building into the crisp air.

"Where to first?" He asked with a cheeky grin, while looking at me."

"Wherever the wind takes us!" I replied throughing my hands into the air.

Taking a a finger from his pocket, he stuck it in his mouth and took it out again.

"What the heck are you doing?" I asked laughing.

"The wind says we shall go northwest! Onward m'lady!"

Grabbing my hand, he led me through the crowd of people and to the unknown. Oh boy... this was going to be good!
