Drugs won't heal

Marinette walked alone in the cold rain. On her way home from a long school day.Adrien called her "just a friend" today. Again.

"Tikki why, why do i still feel like this?". Marinette wanted to stop loving Adrien because it literally dives her crazy.

She expected that her love for the model Adrien Agreste would fade away when she started her new school year. But it didn't unfortunately.

Marinette arrived at her house finding her door open. She was shocked.
"Tikki! Why is the door open?!" She run upstairs finding a note on the kitchen counter.

" hey mari,
Where going to be gone for a while. Turns out that grandma isn't doing very well... don't worry we will stay in touch. Me and Tom love you lots mari but, we didn't have time to stop at you're school. We where in such a rush. We are so sorry that we couldn't say goodbye. We left you some money so you could take care of yourself. If you ever need something don't be shy to go over to the Agreste house. Gabriel said that you're welcome if you need something.
Love- mom and dad "

"Oh my god, i- i don't know what to do!" Marinette sobbed and felt so numb that she fell on the ground.

Tikki flew over to her and hugged her cheek tight. "Its okey mari where in this thogheter. I know it hasn't been the best time right now but, at least we have each other."

Marinette smiled a bit and went up to her room. After lots of tears She asked " Tikki why in the world would my mom and dad choose the Agreste family to be my backup. I mean why didn't they choose Alya or god knows who! I can't go to Adrien's house!"

Maybe it was a good choice. I mean what if it was a good opportunity to get closer whit Adrien. The love of Marinette's  life.

She thought of it for the rest of the night until, her phone began to rang. It was a FaceTime call from her mom and dad. She answered it as fast as she could.

" Hii mom and dad! How is grandma? Are you guys okey? When will you guys come back?" Marinette had so much questions to ask.

Sabine  looked awfully sad" Hey sweetie, grandma isn't doing good. Her cancer is back... it looks like its going to enter her brain."

Marinette froze. She didn't know what to do. Holding back tears she asked " wha- what? No thats not no this is a joke right? Mom please. No" Marinette couldn't get a normal sentence out of her mouth.

Tom was shivering when he took the phone and saw how bad Marinette was trying to hold back her tears. "Its okey, let it out. You're the strongest girl i know Mari. Its okey to cry sometime." Tom couldn't see his own daughter in so much pain. It was hurting him so bad that he had to leave the room whit out the phone in his hands.

Marinette asked her mom if she could see grandma.

When Sabine said "yes" she looked at grandma and back at her phone. She had to say it right now, just to warn her. " Mari please don't get scared okey? Just tell me when to turn the camera okey?"

Marinette nodded whit fear in her eyes. "You can turn the camera mom" Sabine took a deep breath and turned the camera.

Grandma looked pail, she looked so white. Whit lots of tubs going in and out her body. She had 3 needles in both of her arms. One for food and water, one for blood, and one whit painkillers.

Mari started to cry so hard that she couldn't breathe. She hung the phone up because she couldn't see this right now. Not whit everything going on.

That night was a disaster. She didn't know what to do so, she cried. She cried and cried and cried until she fell asleep whit her pillow soaked whit wet salty tears...
