Narrator's POV

A Week Later

"I..I hugged her..

Sen Kaibara was in his seat safe and sound, his head resting on his desk. His normal composed self is no more. In short..he's not okay.

"I hugged her.."

Poor boy was thinking of his funeral. To recall the previous week, he had just hugged the cold-hearted (Y/N) Ackerman. Sure, the girl never did anything to him after that. Heck, she even cancelled a few days of their training so he could relax, but it's just nerve-racking.

Who knows what she's really thinking right now?

"..You're so pathetic!"

Sen internally screamed in fear at the mental image of her headbutting him in the jaw. He can't even feel his fingers. He was litterally traumatized.

'Now I've come and done it! I'm so dead!'

"PLEASE SELL ME MY ORGANS!"

SFX : SILENCE

Class 1B's eyes were on Sen as they look at him like he had grow three heads.

Mr.Ectoplasm looked up for his teacher's book and eyed the ikemen. "Mr.Kaibara, if you wish to not learn Mathematics, please report yourself to the principal's office."

Sen twitched, then shook his head as he sat down in shame. His face was bright pink as he ignored the chuckles from some of his classmates. "Sorry, sir."

"Alright then. Onto the next question.."

(Y/N)'s POV

"..Kaibara-kun and I are just training partners."

"Partners, aye~? Well, partners don't hug~"

"I just hugged him because he's crying."

"Geez, you're so oblivious, (Y/N)-chan!"

"..Oblivious? Me?" I can't put two-on-two with what Mina-san said. I mean, hugging shows comfort, right? What's the big deal?

'That's how I usually do with Levi and Mikasa..'

I was returning from the cafeteria. I turned to an empty corner, until a body bumped into mine in a hurry. I managed to stay on my feet, but this person was about to collapse-

My instincts kicked in and I swooped to grabbed the person by their waist and hold their head before it could came in contact with the ground.

Black orbs came into view. And I immediately knew.

Kaibara-kun was laying on my lap, rigid and never dare to move. His eyes were in alarm and his whole face was dusted bright red. Is he unwell?

"Y-Y/N-san?! G-Gomenasai! I um, er... well, u-urgh!-"

'He's really hyperventilating..'

It worries me, seeing someone who was in a serious case of a panic attack. And Kaibara-kun panicking uncontrolably is one of them. He was sweating profusely and his eyes were darting all over the place. His skin was losing colour with his body shaking.
