After letting out a deep sigh, I followed Patrick who's now heading to our friends who's been having a good time with each others company while I am here suffering because he doesn't recognize me. Why am I even here?
"Oh Patrick you're finally back. We've been talking a lot about you back on your high school memories with Nine." He look at Nine and he looks like teasing him.
"Nine! Did you ruin my image in front of Liu Yu. Let me tell you this, I'm gonna deny to everyone that you're my friend." He sounds like he's annoyed but I know he's just playing along with Nine.
"Hey hey Pat! I didn't ruin your image. I just told him how cute your were back in high school." They looks really close after being friends for 10 years. I envy him.

"No he's not." Liu Yu is holding his laugh while looking at Patrick and Nine. They seem a lot closer now. No wonder, Yu is familiar with Nine. They've known each other before. "He also told me when the teacher send you to the guidance office because you passed out---"
"Yu, don't tell him, he'll disown me as his best friend." They we're now both holding their laugh because they saw how pissed (in a fun way) Patrick is.
"Fine fine. If you're happy then tell him more about my dark past. Just don't expect me to welcome you inside my house again." And now he's teasing him back. "Anyways, You have to formally meet Daniel. Daniel this is my best friend Kornchild or simply call him Nine. And Nine, this is Zhou Keyu, your lovers best friend."
"What are you talking about Pat? We're not lovers. We're just friends, right Yu?"
"Y-Yeah, we're... friends." Yu answered.
I know, it's not what he wants to hear. Even though Yu is not open about his feelings, I know he doesn't want that word. He doesn't want to be just friends with Nine. He wants more than that.
