Y/n's Pov:

I was working a shift at the restaurant I work at, it was a really busy day but lucky I only have three hours left then I've got to go study law. My life is kind of hectic at the moment, I have to work at this restaurant whilst also sometimes helping at my dads business, then I've got to study law as I wanted to become like my queen Leslie and Me and my best friend have found a better apartment for us to share.
U: hello welcome to Asiago Italian, how can I help you?
Customer: hi, I've booked a table for six people.
Looking at his face I recognise him from somewhere but I just don't know where.
U: can I get the last name of the person who booked it?
Customer: that would be mine it's Villanueva
U: okay, do u want to wait for a few more people if not I can take u to ur table now?
Customer: is is ok if I wait for them?
U: of course.
I smiled at him and he smiled back.

I made my way over to the bar where my best friend was at
Ybsf: hello y/n do u not know who that was?
U: I feel like I recognised him from somewhere
Ybsf: let me just say GUS HALPER
U: Villanueva. It was miles Villanueva from law and order Menendez murders how did I not know?
I was face palming myself in my head
Ybsf: wait if he is here then maybe there's a possibility that Gus may be coming here.
She was smirking as she knows I have the biggest crush on Gus.
U: so? Im calm collected and I don't even like him that much.
Ybsf: mhm sure u don't.
U: I need to go serve some people.
I went over to a table with a family.
U; are u finished with ur dishes?
The mother smiled at me
M; yes thank you the food was amazing
I smiled back at her and took the dishes to the kitchen. As I went back I saw that miles came through with a woman. I looked over at Y/bsf who texted me

I went over to the front desk as I saw miles waiting with edie.
U: hello are u ready to go to ur table?
He smiled at me
Miles: yes I have one but the others are still coming
U: that is fine, you guys can either call them over or I can show them?
As we were walking over to their table miles asked me something
Miles: if I give u the names and pictures of the people coming will u be able to bring them over?
U: no problem.
Miles: thanks
He showed me four pictures and I knew who they were. The first being Gus Halper, then Julianne who plays Jill, Leslie herself and then Jill.
Miles: they should be arriving in the next few minutes.
U:ok if u want drinks just call me over. My name is Y/n btw.
Miles: my name is
I cut him off before he could finish
U: ur miles. Sorry if that seemed weird it's just that I've watched law and order because I'm a menendez supporter and ur edie.
I said smiling at a woman who had sat down she smiled back.
Miles: well it's nice to meet u
U: same
I walked away to the bar to fill in my friend.

Ybsf: anything new?
U: GUS IS COMING HERE
I whisper-shouted at her. She was freaking out as well
Y/bsf: this is a big deal. Blow away all them nerves and think 'silenzio Bruno!" (Luca reference there for anyone who has watched the movie).
U: silenzio Bruno!
I was going to a few tables when I saw two people walking in they looked familiar so I went to them
U; hello I'm Y/n welcome to asiago Italian.
Leslie: hello, we have a booking under Villanueva.
U: ah yes follow me to ur table.
I took them over to the table
Miles: thanks for bringing them
U: it's ok there's only two more left right?
Miles: yep
I nodded and then went back to serving other people.
I notice someone who looked like gus.
U: hello are u here for a booking under Villanueva?
Gus: yeah both of us
From behind him I saw Julianne coming
U: miles told me to take u guys to the table so if u would just follow me

U: I'll get someone to bring over ur menus

I went over to another friend called Alberto.
U: al can u take six menus to table 20 thank you.
Alberto: anything for u y/n
He bowed down and I laughed.
I looked back and saw that Y/bsf had finished for her break
Manager: Y/N U CAN GO FOR UR BREAK.
He shouted from his office. I walked over to y/bsf who has music playing from her phone.
U: really?
Ybsf: what? Oh pls right what shall we do?
U: go get something to it that's not pizza
Y/bsf laughed
Y/bsf: sounds like a plan.
We both walked out the doors.

*Time skip*

It's now the end of our break so we made our way back to the restaurant, I only had about an hour left.
Ybsf: see u later
U: bye
I went to serving people. Then the bell for food to be brought out got rung
U: whose table is this for?
Alberto: table 20 or should I say ur boyfriends table.
He said smirking
U: Gus isn't my boyfriend.
I took the plates and made my way over to their table
Miles: Ay Y/n ur back, how was ur break?
I placed the plate in front of him
U: it was good.
I placed the other plate in front of Leslie the went to get the others. Once I finished putting the plates out.
I checked the time
U: I hope u guys enjoy ur food. I need to go now bye. They all said bye and I went to put my stuff away.
Ybsf: BYE BESTAY
she shouted from the bar
U: BYE
then I made my way home to have online law classes.

I know this is long but it's the first chapter. Ik it's a bit hectic but I just really needed to update this. I will be starting the next chapter tho so that won't be a long wait. Bye ✌🏼
