How once your there one second feels like a week, one minute feels like a year, That moment of realization knowing these minutes, will go on forever; an eternity.

I shake my head, standing up to leave, not wanting to be there anymore, Their flesh, melting skin popping and boiling, the cries of pain and fear.

As I walked through the portal between the underworld and humanity the first thing I noticed was silence, the fresh air, cold wind pressing against my skin. Taking in the peace and quiet I went to the cemetery,

seeing the trapped souls didn’t surface any poignancy. I saw one boy though --human—leaning against a grave crying.

“You alright?” I mumbled

“ What? Im fine.” He sniffled, blank face but sad eyes.

“You wanna get a drink?” I asked knowing he'll say yes.

“ And I said, I am NOT shaving that” Downing my 11th shot, we were both well over drunk.

The boy; Adrian had a what seemingly perfect family although his mother died of cancer last week.

“why?” I laughed

“He obsesses with Katy Perry and pop artists” He paused “and he’s 19” I Laughed, The night continued on like that, talking about our selves, and all.

He smiled up at me with something written in his eyes, “I have to go.”

I stood up and suddenly left, Father will not be pleased.
