'He's actually pretty swaggy..' you thought to yourself. You stood up and walked out of your room to make some dinner for Hiro and you. You grabbed a recipe book that you unpacked onto the top of the shelf. It had Hiro's favorite dishes in it, and old recipes your family members had put into it. Hiro didn't know about it and you didn't plan on telling her. She knew you as a very mature unless it came to food or when you and her were alone. As in if there was any food you would eat it.
You decided to make her some sukiyaki, that was one of her favorites but it was also pretty easy to make in your opinion. You walked over to her room to make sure she was still asleep, and lucky for you she was. You shut her door quietly so that she didn't smell you making the food, and then you began to get all the ingredients out and make her food.
About 30 minutes later
You had finished the food and prepared the couch with blankets, pillows, and you had made a list of movies you were going to watch with Hiro; it was your movie night after all; lucky for her, it was horror movie night. She absolutely loved horror and could never take her eyes off of the screen when you both watched them, you on the other hand were not a big fan of horror movies. You could watch them and would if you were forced or just felt like it, but you didn't exactly enjoy them. You grabbed your phone and walked to Hiro's room, you inhaled and exhaled before clearing your throat and blasting "Sofia the first ear rape"
Hiro sat up with wide eyes immediately. "L/N YOU ASSHOLE" She yelled at you and jumped out of her bed.
You laughed and ran into the bathroom to hide waiting for Hiro to stop chasing you and stand there in shock. You waited for a couple minutes until you were sure that she was just staring at the dining table in a state of shock. You walked out and just as you thought, Hiro was standing frozen with her eyes wide just staring at the dining table and the couch.
She turned her head to you and looked at you confused.
"Well what are you waiting for? I didn't make that for 30 minutes just for it to get cold."
"Thank you N/N, oh also! I noticed that onion head dropped this when you bumped into him." she handed you a Tinkerbell key-chain.
"And?" you asked raising an eyebrow
"Can you take it back to him for me? Pleaseeeeee? you know him more so it'd be awkward if I d-" You cut her off.
"Yeah yeah, I got it don't worry." you said and smiled
"Thank you so much N/N!!!" Hiro beamed.
"No problem Hiro! Enjoy the food!" You winked at her and started heading over to Kindaichi's dorm.
You knocked on the door and heard an unfamiliar voice, you didn't know Kindaichi that well but you did know that was not his voice.
"Coming." The unfamiliar voice yelled
He unlocked the door and opened it and just stared at you for a second. He had black hair where his bangs were pushed to the side.
"Uh- Can I help you?" He asked.
"Sorry, do you know Kindaichi?" You asked and rubbed your nape nervously.
"Oh, yeah." He said.
"Oh great! I just came to return this to him!-" You were about to hand the boy the chain but someone yelled what you assume was his name which caught your attention.
"AKIRA YOU BRAT. WHERE'D YOU PUT MY TOWEL?" He yelled.
"Give me a second.." The guy at the door said.
"THERE'S SOMEONE AT THE DOOR KINDAICHI GET DRESSED, THEY'RE LOOKING FOR YOU." The guy yelled back.
"He'll be with you in a minute." The guy said and lazily shut the door.
About 5 minutes later Kindaichi came out with his usual onion like hair, you assumed it would be down but you guessed it doesn't take him that long to put gel in his hair.
"Hey sorry about him, if he was rude or anything he's usually like that." Kindaichi glanced at the guy who was sitting on the couch.
"Oh It's fine, but um- here I just wanted to give y-" You held the key-chain in your hand and when he saw it his eyes had sparkles in them and he had cut you off.
"𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙡!" He beamed and grabbed the key-chain.
"Yeah um- So that's basically all that I came over to give you." You laughed nervously and smiled.
"Thank you, do you wanna come inside? I can kick Kunimi out." He smiled and kind of begged for a reason to get Kunimi out of the house.
"Oh sure, you can send Kunimi over to my dorm where my best friend is! She's probably lonely anyways." You politely replied.
"Sure! Kunimi you're gonna go to N/N's dorm." He turned to Kunimi and crossed his arms.
"Okay, what's the dorm number?" He asked looking up from his phone.
"It's XXX." You said and walked inside the two boy's dorm.
"K." He responded and walked out of the dorm.
You both went over to the couch and sat down.
"So, you seem like a big fan of Tinkerbell hm?" You asked him and laughed under your breath.
"Oh yeah! I love her! What about you? Do you have any favorite characters from shows?" He asked you.
"Mhm! I like Eeyore, from Winnie the Pooh!" You replied with sparkles in your eyes.
"The donkey?" He asked.
"Mhm." You still had a small smile on your face.
It had been about an hour and you two had been talking about quite a lot of things, you got to know each other really well actually. His favorite color; salmon, his favorite food; grilled corn, his favorite animals; domesticated/tropical fish and chickens, etc.
"I should probably get going now Kindaichi, I'll see you in class tomorrow maybe?" You stood up and smiled.
"Oh, yeah, see you, make sure to send Kunimi back to our dorm please."
"Sure! Buh bye!" You walked out and waved.
Kindaichi's pov
Once F/N had walked out the door I became a blushing mess, they were so cute and nice and just- perfect! Of course I didn't have a crush on them, you can find your friends cute can't you?.. Who am I kidding, of course you can! We only met earlier today, no way I'm crushing on them already. I heard the door open and I saw Kunimi walk in with a pink tint on his cheeks, very visible.
"Kunimi? You ok? You're kinda red." I looked at his cheeks while he walked over to the couch.
"F/N's best friend is the best." was all he said before plopping onto the couch and day dreaming.
