"Hey you've been dozing off a lot. Is there something wrong?" Reki asked me

"Well no, not really." I lied. My parents were getting extremely ill. I was just worried I guess.

"Alright. But if anything. And I mean anything, is on your mind, then I'm always free to talk." Reki said as he cupped my face with his hands.

I smiled at him. Then the countdown started and shadow and some other person started their race. Shadow had one and the beef was that the person had to wear a maids outfit. I chuckled.

I started to grow tired, so I took my skateboard and started riding home. Once I got home I unlocked the door and yelled "I'm home!"

...

...

...

No answer.

Huh.

Usually when I get home everyone is in the living room, dinner cooking, and everything's peaceful and nice. Well now, it's just awkward. No one was home. Yet all the cars were still there.

Suddenly I heard my phone ring. It scared me a bit when the default iPhone ringtone started playing in my back pocket. I grabbed out my phone and answered the call

"Are you y/n l/n?" A voice asked

"Uh yes? Why so?" I answered

"Sorry for the bad news kid, but your parents had a stroke around an hour ago. I'm not sure they will make it." The voice replied.

I just sat there in shock.

I-I need to get to the hospital. What if they die. Where will I go? I don't have grandparents. Or other family members. Oh I'm all alone now. What will reki think?

All these questions running through m mind. Couldn't be answered

"Ma'am?" The voice said

"Y-yes?" I chocked up.

"You are very welcome to stop by to visit your parents." The voice answered.

My first thought was to ask Reki to drive me since he had got his license before me. I hung up the phone and ran all the way to his house. I knocked 3 times.

Then I saw a tired Reki answer the door. He rubbed his eyes

"Y/n?" He asked.

"Um reki, I need you to drive me to the hospital. Now" I said.

"Wait why? What's wrong? Are you hurt?" He asked

"N-no it's not me, it's my family." I felt the hot tears start to ball up in my eyes.

Reki understood that if he asked too many questions I would become even more overwhelmed. So he just hugged me and put on his jacket and shoes. He walked me to his car and we both got in. Him in the drivers seat and me in the seat next to him.

He started driving and I couldn't stop crying. Since it was dark out he couldn't see and I was pretty good at keeping quite when I came to emotions.

We arrived to the hospital and we both got out.

"Do you want me to come?" Reki asked me.

"Only if you want." I said

"Then I'll come." He replied.
