**Hazel's POV**
I miss him so much. Whenever I get up in the morning and look at my reflection in the mirror, I imagine him standing beside me, smiling. Whenever I see the sun rising, I think back to when I first met him, to the moment I first laid my eyes on him. Whenever I see the sun setting, I think back to when we parted, to our final kiss. I miss him so much.
Him.
Him, who means the world to me. Him, who makes me smile and laugh. Him, who I love.
Sawyer Nelson.
I miss him so much. I love him so much.
We've been gone for around two months now, and have seen so many amazing sights, too beautiful to describe in words. The seas have gotten rougher, the days shorter, and the weather colder. Right now, it's evening, and I am writing this by candlelight as everyone else has gone to bed.
So, for now, we're drifting. Drifting into the unknown. Drifting into our future.

**Sawyer's POV**
It feels like a part of me has died. The pain I'm in feels like a limb has been amputated. There is a hole in my heart. This hole can only be fixed by one person. One girl.
Hazel Haskett.
She is the answer to my pains. She is the meaning in my life. She is the key to my heart and soul.
There is a piece of paper which sits, folded, in my pocket. I carry it around with me, and the only time it ever leaves me is if I an in contact with water. It stays in my pocket, and has been ever since two months ago. Two months ago, I had said goodbye. Two months ago, she had left me. Two months ago, Hazel and I had shared one last kiss.
But it isn't the end. It's only the beginning. The beginning of a story still in the making. The beginning of what is to become an edited and published book. The beginning of a story full of twists, turns, and the dreaded dead ends.
A story of love and lust. Of compassion and kindness. Of loyalty, trust, and betrayal.
