Context: This starts on the first episode Y/N POV without the main characters but y/n runs into them eventually, usually just chills with Hazamada for the meanwhile. Y/N is a loner but this year they meet Hazamada the fucking gremlin <3

Y/N POV

I had just sat down in my class, it was a bit boring since it's......school. Who doesn't love having math class in the fucking morning? I was anxiously looking at the clock, I wasted the summer staying inside of my room and boy did I miss it.
It was sorta embarrassing to be in school again considering last year I got bashed for liking anime and manga. Hopefully nobody remembers, or cares enough to talk about it. "Y/N, are you paying attention?" T/N asked looking at me, "I, uh, I dozed off. Sorry." "Ugh, moving on." T/N scoffed calling on the student next to me, "Hazamada?" "uh yeah?" "Come, answer this question." T/N told the small boy pointing to the board, I should probably pay attention so I can just copy off whatever he puts on the board and hope it's correct. It would be a shame if that dude got the answer wrong on the first day.

timeskip to the end of the day-ish bc idk how the japanese school system works- hell, i don't even know how my school system works :/

I was organizing my locker so I can hurry and leave the building when the small boy from my first period walked up to me,"Is that Pink Dark Boy and The-" "Huh? Oh yeah, it is." "I love Rohan Kishibe's work!" the boy jumped out before he began to rant about the manga and it's latest chapters, "Yeah, I like it too." I responded and walked away from him, I understand him being excited about it, considering the plot is pretty...terrific, but today was a bit exhausting. I just wanna go home. "Ah! You should go to the arcade with me this Saturday, there's this-" "I've heard, I'll see you there." I chuckled, he seems to be really excited about that new game coming out and just... anime and manga in general. I mean not a lot of people are interested in anime right now, it's probably cool to see other people who share your interests, I can understand that much.

Hazamada POV

Me and a few of my friends were planning to go to the arcade and now we have another person to join us! They're actually cool unlike the the uncultured bitches at this school. Whatever, it's not my problem they have bad taste. 

I totally should've gotten that persons house number, it would be easier to make plans for the arcade. Eh, it's no biggie anyways. I wonder what Junko is up to.... I really need to get Surface to touch her or for her to touch surface. 

I poked my stand and allowed it to become me, "You're that lonely that you're gonna talk to a piece of wood?" 

No POV

Y/N sat at their desk reaching inside one of the drawers, they had just finished some homework and they were about to start drawing, "Y/N!" D/N called out "You better finish these dishes and tell me how school went instead of being in your room all day!" and Y/N ran to the kitchen, "Tell me, what happened?" "Just the usual, the teachers were a bit more harsh considering it's my last year. They expect a lot from me now." Y/N told their father as they waited for the water to be the right temperature, "Yeah, you're smart though. You can handle this." D/N smiled, "Oh, and some kid invited me to the arcade on Saturday." Y/N told their father, "Saturday? But we were gonna watch a movie on Saturday!" D/N fake cried jokingly. "Dad it'll be fine, it's just an arcade, I'll be there for what, 2-4 hours? I'll still have time for homework and a movie." Y/N smiled.

"Have you drawn lately?" D/N asked, "I was going to before you were lazy and made me wash the dishes." Y/N joked, "You have your chores and I have mine." 

(Time skip)

Y/N woke up in the morning to their dad screaming, "I- are you okay dad?" "You weren't getting out of bed. There's some bread on the table, walk yourself to school I'm late for work." D/N told Y/N before going back to his room to clean up before leaving the house.

Y/N POV

I nodded to what my dad had told me and got changed into the uniform, thankfully it's decently warm outside, I got the bread, it was a single thin slice of banana bread. Something I could easily finish on the way to school. 

While walking I ran into the small dude, "I never got your name." he said, "I never got yours either." I told him "Hazamada Toshikazu, you seem to have a lot of anime related accessories." "Y/N L/N. Whats wrong with them?" I queried.
"Oh! Nothing! It's just most people don't want others to know they like anime." Hazamada explained, "I personally don't give a shit. I like anime and they can't stop me from liking it." "That's understandable, me and my friends are gonna be at the arcade around 2:30PM so you can get there whenever." "Thanks for inviting me. It's awkward to go alone." 

Once we reached our class Hazamada and I sat down, "Pssst, Y/N did you know Rohan Kishibe is only 20?" Hazamada asked barely containing his excitement, "Hazamada, whats so important that you were talking in class?" T/N asked, "Nothing! I'm sorry Sensei." Hazamada apologized holding his hands up. Once T/N looked away I grabbed a piece of of paper from my pile of papers and wrote something small passing it to Hazamada. Soon enough he copied and gave me a note.

I smiled and sent him a note back in which he said "Sorry I got carried away, I wanted to draw on the paper." 

Hhhhh time to work on the other ones Im writing bc I want to have distractions from an animation project which was just a distraction from school work :)
