Online game is very popular in teenagers nowadays. It is
their routine to play a game during their vacant time,
even if it's just for an hour or two.
Dota, this is one of the most popular game that almost all
of the gamer plays, aside from Counter Strike:
Global Offensive, League of Legends, Call of Duty, etc.
There was a girl named Crystal Maiden who's taking up
too much time playing this game. Sometimes, she's skipping
her meals, forgetting to do household chores, sleeping
late and many more just to fulfill her addiction with this
game.
While playing a public game, he met Tinker.
Tinker is her opponent/enemy in the game. He is in the
Dire Team and Crystal Maiden is at the Radiant Team.
At the start of the game Tinker killed Crystal Maiden's
hero that drew him 'First Blood' (1st hero that was killed
in the game). The game continued and Crystal Maiden's
hero earned consecutive deaths from Tinker's hero.
'Who is this guy? I hate him. Why he is so good at playing
this game?'
At the end of the game, The Dire Team won, and
Crystal Maiden was very upset and disappointed with the
result of her game. Crystal Maiden thought
to herself of adding Tinker as his Online Game buddy.
'This guy is so good at playing Dota. What if I would add him as
my friend so that I can learn some new skills and tactics? Will he
accept my request?'
Those are some of the questions that bothers Crystal Maiden.
After a few minutes, she decided to give a request to Tinker.
Fortunately, he accepted it. They became good friends and
they became a party/ allies in every game almost everyday.
After 5 months, Crystal Maiden confessed her feelings to
Tinker that she was falling In-love for him. Tinker was in shocked,
knowing that she has been her long time online game friend.
He cannot utter any words nor think of what he will say in
exchange to her confession.
A month has passed, Crystal Maiden's confession was left
in the mid air and clueless, till the time came that Tinker
called Crystal Maiden and told her that he has feelings too
for this cold-hearted girl. Crystal Maiden was very happy
the she feels like there's a butterflies in her stomach.
The next day, they planned to play Dota 'till morning.
While in-game, Tinker paused the game because
he needs to answer a call from his girl best friend.
Tinker said 'Maiden, wait for me. I'll be back in a minute.
I just need to answer this call.' She replied, 'Ok. I will wait for
you.' Crystal Maiden was waiting for Tinker to un pause the
game, but suddenly he disconnected and gone offline.
A day had passed, a week had passed, a month had passed
but there's no Tinker that came Online in the game.
Suddenly, Crsytal Maiden received a message from Tinker
saying,
'I'm sorry for leaving you that morning. It wasn't my
intention to keep you waiting for a month, but I'm here now
and I want to tell you that we can no longer continue the relationship
that we started. I love you as much as you love me, but I don't
wanna lose my best friend or should I say my Girlfriend. Yes! She is
my Girlfriend now. I don't want this to happen but I don't have a choice.
I'm so sorry. I hope you feel better soon. Good bye!'
Broken? Sad? Surprised? Despair? Confused? Crystal Maiden
can't determined what does she feels at that time. She just
decided to play Dota to make her feel better, while
In-game tears keeps falling into her eyes.
'Why? I just cant accept the fact that he will leave me like this.
I will kill all my enemies. I'm gonna shut them down.'
After 2 weeks, when all the pain has subsided and she already
accepted the reality, Crystal Maiden decided to send a message to Tinker saying:
Hey there Tinker!
Maybe this isn't the right time for us, for us to be together. Our story
is like DOTA, you will always be in the Dire Team and I will always be in
the Radiant Team. Maybe for some instances, we can meet and see
each other, but at the end of the day we will still go back on our
respective bases.
Leave the worries behind, because I will always be you friend and
I will always be your support no matter what.
I just hope that someday somehow, we can meet each other in the
same lane and in the same track but not as my opponent nor
your opponent, but as a partner supporting each other 'till
we defeat all the enemies and reach the ANCIENT- our love for each
other that no one can break apart.
