Forced Love

The new girl

"Hurry up marina!", called marina's mum up to her, " you dont want to be late on your first day do you?".
Marina rolled her eyes as she stuffed her laptop into her shoulder bag and walked down stairs, "bye bye darling have a great first day!", she heard her mum call as she laft the house.
Of course she had to leave without taking her to school, though in a way marina was glad her mother had let her walk on her own. The previous day her mother had shown her the new school so she had a rough idea on where to go.
She grabbed a pice of toast her mum left for her, slung her bag over her shoulder and ran out the door realizing her mum was right and that school started in three minutes.

As soon as she got there she ran into her form room and sat down in an empty seat. This seemed to shock the person she sat next to her. "Oh. Hi , sorry were you saving that for someone?" Marina asked as she turned to see she had sat next to a girl with marvellous blue eyes, red hair and a rather confused look on her face.
"Oh, no i was just wondering, i know everyone here, so i was shocked to see you, might you be the new girl?" She aked with a very curious tone in her voice.
This made marina giggle and reply, "yes that would be me, my name is marina-just if you want to call me anthing other than 'the new girl'' she laughed agian.
"Well hi marina my name is luna, oh i do hate my name. I wish i had a name like yours. You could even have a nickname that your friends call you, you how i want one of those," she said speaking rather formally, which just caused marina to laugh more. "Luna, do you always speak so formally?" She questioned, but before luna could answer the form teacher called for silence.

"Ok, so as i am sure many of you have heard a new girl will bre joining us this term..."began Mr. Joks,
God, he's talking like i am not even here. Thought marina until yet agian her thoughts were interrupted by Mr. Joks as he called for her to stand and introduce herself.

"Well that was fun wasn't it." Said marina sarcasticly to luna as they walked to luch. They had found out that they shared maths, science, P.E., art and tech.
"No. I dont." Said luna,
"You dont what?" Asked marina slightly confused, as she did not expect that reply,
"Your question at form. No i dont always speak that formally, it's just i thought that since it's a new term i might try speaking to people to try make some friends. But i wasn't sure how someone is supposed to sound if they are trying to make friends...." she said, leving marina in pure shock.
"Well you dont need to sound anything. Just you. Oh and how 'bout you come sit with me, i met a girl in English, she's nice, you should meet her." Said marina taking he rto a table and sitting next to a girl with long black hair that she wore in a bun.
"Hi," she greeted marina and luna. "Hi, my name is luna, i hear that you and marina are friends."she said to the girl,
" oh thats nice, i am sophie, but it would be nic eif i were your friend to." She smiled and luna seemed to take this as some sort of confirmation that she was good, and with that she started chatting away about who knows what, but it seemed that they were all good friends.
