Knock Knock! The door rapped, I moved my gaze from my novel towards the door, but I kept waiting on my cereleon plush couch for someone to open up.
'Maddy go and open up...!' Aura screamed.
'Why don't she ever take name of her daughter(Betty)...why only me?' Sunk in my thoughts I went to see who was on the door. Opening the door despondently, against creeking noise I saw Mathew standing behind the door.
'Hi, sup?' Mathew beamingly said.
'Hey, am good....get in!' I replied without changing my look.
As I am aware of Aura's nature, we strode briskly into my room, before she opens her mouth and starts embarrassing my friend by indirectly saying that I waste my time cause of him. Slamming my room door I asked Mathew to sit down on the bed and then asked 'Can you do me a favour Math?' (We call him Math for short).
He replied 'Do you really need to ask me that?'
'Ok listen! Go to Maigma store and buy a Oscar's pen and blue Lillie dairy...plz!!!' I said handing him the money.
His mood fully sullen,'What? How can she do this to you again? How dare she? Why don't you talk to your Dad about all this....writing is your passion...Who the hell is Aura to stop you from writing?'
Aura burned my diary six months before and it contained all my life work, everything! For whole month I kept on crying and I didn't went school for several weeks then it was Mathew and Alex who gifted me new diary and advised me to give it a new start but now again few days before Aura caught me writing and took away my diary. I know she is jealous of my writing. She knows that my writing is enough to bring me fame unlike her daughter. But maybe now 'em used to this drama...
Handing him a glass of water I calmed him down by saying 'Dont worry Mathew...I know...but after demise of mom my Dad wants me to accept her as my Mother but no matter what I won't ever accept her calling herself my Mother but I dont want to hurt Dad ... And let me be honest that Dad have been foolin by Aura's scandals. I don't understand what's her problem. She never say anything to Betty.' After a short silence I added 'Well dont worry I am soon gonna get rid of this family.....!'
'What do you mean? Maddy what are you up too?' Mathew inquired worried.
I muffeled beamingly 'Well I will tell you all about it later...its a secret...which is much bigger then a secret....we will meet after classes at cafeteria I will ask Alex to also come and then I will tell you guys...what am I planning for!'
'Ok! So meet you guys tommorow!', he stood up and left my room in same worried expressions without arguing because he knows I don't share my plans until Alex and Mathew both aren't there, I reminded him about the favour again as he walked out of room.
