Y/N slowly slipped out of the Slytherin common room at exactly 2:52 in the morning, wondering who sent her that letter earlier today. She pulled it out of the pocket of her sweatpants and unfolded it to read the words for the thousandth time.

"Y/N, meet me outside the trophy room, 3:00am tonight. DON'T be late."

The words excited Y/N, she was always one for taking risks, and well, sneaking out was her speciality, she had never once been caught.

Her footsteps pattered on the ground as she passed by abandoned classrooms locked up for the night. A cool breeze whistled past her face, as she shivered she turned the corner and began walking speedily towards the trophy room. In her rush she knocked over a suit of armour, it clattered to the ground, the sound ringing throughout the corridors of Hogwarts.

"Shit," she whispered quietly and hoped to god Filch didn't hear.

The trophy room was approaching, she could see a flickering light of what looked like a candle coming from the doorway. Breathing heavily she turned right into the door, but no one was there. The only thing showing any sign of life was the candle dancing in the soft light of the moon.

Sighing, she looked at the clock on the wall. 3:01am. The mystery person had said to not be late had they not? Clearly they should have taken their own advice.

"Hey," said a deep voice behind her.

Y/N span in surprise and gasps. It couldn't be...

*Earlier that day*

"Y/N you do know that you can't just not do that transfiguration assignment right? I mean that's just preposterous," said Hermione in the Great Hall during breakfast.

"Well, yea, that's the point" Y/N mutters through chewing her cornflakes.

Ron chuckled, then pointed upwards.

"Oh look. Mails here."

Harry's owl Hedwig swoops down gracefully and places one lone letter on the table in front of Harry.

"Uh, this letter's for you Y/N" Said Harry, looking confused.

The letter was written in dark green, Slytherin like ink. Y/N opened it up and read it quickly.

"What does that say," a voice said behind her.

"Oh shit Ginny you scared me, I didn't see you there" Y/N said.

"I'm always here you dimwit," Ginny said laughing at herself.

"Someone wants to meet me at the trophy room tonight, three o'clock."

"Who?" Exclaimed Harry in surprise, looking more than a little jealous.

"Dunno doesn't say."

"Well are you going to go? I don't think it's wise, you should come to the Gryffindor common room and study with us instead," said Hermione.

"As if you would still be studying up until three am Hermione... Oh wait, you're a loser that's right," laughed Ron.

Hermione shot him a glare strong enough to frighten a Professor Snape.

"I reckon go, you never know what you might find. Could be a secret admirer or something haha," said Ginny, stuffing her face with granola.

Maybe... Y/N thought.

She heard a familiar laugh come from the Slytherin table. Y/N swivelled around and looked over her shoulder. The laugh had come from the one and only Draco Malfoy. Not only was he seriously attractive, he was also not as rude as everyone made him out to be. Or at least he wasn't rude to Y/N.
