Pokemon XY- Complete Reset

Shalour Showdown

    Previously, during the shalour gym battle, the first round ended with eevee unlocking its fifth move and defeating mienfoo and later falling down, unable to continue. Then, pikachu had (one sided) face off with machoke and ended the battle fairly quickly. Now, as for the final battle, gym leader Korrina chose her trusty partner lucario. Which pokemon will Ash chose?

Ash: I choose you,....!

*flash*

Ash:....infernape!

     With that came out Ash's sinnoh region ace, the fire/fighting type pokemon, infernape. It took on its battle stance with its fiery crown burning violenlty.

     "Its the pokemon from the lab!", Bonnie exclaimed with starry eyes, "what a cutie!". "Looks like Ash is going in with a type advantage to counter Korrina's mega evolving lucario", Clemont spoke as he adjusted his glasses. "You can do this Ash", Serena muttered as she held on to her precious ribbon.

Korrina: type advantage won't help win easily Ash

Ash: trust me, I know that better than anyone.

Korrina: lets go all out from the start, lucario mega evolve!

     Korrina touched her key stone attached to her glove which resonated with the mega stone on lucario's wrist. As the light from the two stones connected, lucario mega evolved into mega lucario

Ash: time to get serious, infernape

Infernape: infer*looks at Ash*

    Ash, who understood what it meant, was surprised at first, but nodded with a smile

Korrina: Sword dance!

Ash: ready your Focus punch!

     Lucario surrounding itself with sword energy which started revolving around it and finally merged into it, raising its attack power

Korrina: use Power up punch!

Ash: Block and hit back!

   Lucario, with excellent speed boost from mega evolution, got infront of infernape in an instant, bringing forth its fist to deliver a hard hit, which was effectively deflected my infernape, who used focus punch to deliver an upper cut, throwing mega lucario into the air

Ash: follow up with Blaze kick!

    Infernape jumped up and in the next instant, performed a mid air round house kick, with its feet on fire, shooting it back right in front of Korrina.

    Lucario, who got great damage from the two moves, still maintained its balance as it landed on its feet as soon as it was about to hit the feet.

Ash:mega lucario is tough as expected

Korrina: lucario, you okay?

Lucario: *nod*

Korrina:aura sphere!

Ash: fireblast to defend!

Korrina: not happening, use metal sound!

     Lucario delivered its signature Move. Infernape was about to defend when an eerie sound, from lucario's clap, started to hurt its ears, and it couldn't help but cover up its ears, which resulted in getting hit by aura sphere in the gut!

Korrina : Bone rush, now's your chance!

    Lucario rushed towards infernape, confusing two illusory bones made of aura, and slammed it on infernape's face, and gut. Bone rush, being a ground type move was effective against infernape!
