𝑂𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦

An adventorous start

I sat under the tree in the courtyard, reading my favourite book. Hamlet, I was always a fan of Shakespeare and hamlet was my favourite. I was on my lunch break and had my bread and water next to me, I was a servant to the kurta clan, more specifically master hatsu and sir kurapika. They are the princes of greed kingdom and are feared by most of the people living on the island. They are twin brothers and have ruled the kingdom for five years now. I've been serving the kurta clan for five years now, and I've always been interested in hatsu. His Grey eyes and jet black hair always drew me in; he has pale skin and freckles placed perfectly on the top of his nose. He has a rose blush that spreads across his face perfectly and a perfect jawline, in short he is physically flawless.

I admired him from afar as I watched his confident walk through the halls of the castle, my thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of a bell. It was to signal that my lunch break was over, I packed up my things and headed back into the castle. I passed Prince hatsu and Prince kurapika laughing, he has such a handsome smile. I bowed to them as I passed, before I was stopped by a pair of strong hands, they gripped my shoulders and pulled me back up. I looked at the tall figure standing in front of me, Prince hatsu was holding me up from bowing.
"Prince hatsu, is there a problem sir?"
I questioned his actions waiting for a response,"yes" he said, I started overthinking coming up with all of the things I could've forgotten, he continued "first of all, just call me hatsu, secondly you don't have to bow whenever you see me and finally, would you please follow me? I've been seeing you around and a handsome young fellow like you doesn't deserve this treatment." I was stunned by what this Prince was telling me, I stared into his beautiful grey eyes and nodded slowly. Without warning he grabbed my hand and started running through the halls pulling me with him, every time I saw him he was always so happy,  he had a childlike personality and was never seen frowning. I tried my best to keep up with him before I fell on my face, I had stumbled over my feet multiple times but managed to keep my balance. After running for about five minutes, he stopped suddenly at a beautiful cherry blossom tree that sat on a cliff. The cliff overlooked the sea and was a prefect spot to watch a sunset or sunrise, "why did you bring me here pri- Hatsu?" I questioned his reasoning for bringing me here, he put his gentle finger over my lip and made a shushing motion. I followed his orders and stopped talking, it was only mid day so the sun was shining brighter than a million stars. I admired the view before my head was turned to look at some birds in the sky, the birds danced around each other before diving into the ocean. They flew out with fish in the mouths and flew above our heads. The hands that gently rested next to my head finally let go, as I turned around to face the Prince. He was smiling at the clouds, I admired his features in the sun, thoughts crowded my head 'I've never seen him this close before'  I admired his up close beauty before he started lowering his head to meet my gaze. His eyes glistened in the sunlight and the blush on his face grew, we locked eyes before I looked away. Realisation hit me, I still had work to do. "I apologise sir but I must get back to the castle, I still have lots of work to do. I sincerely apologise but thank you for showing me this place."
I ran back to the castle as fast as I could, shouts from the Prince were heard in the background, he was screaming for me to come back but I couldn't. My face was bright red and the wind blew past my face, the castle started to come back into view.
I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and accidentally crashed into someone, I quickly looked up and realised that I had crashed into master kurapika. I stood up quickly and bowed as my face turned even more red, i apologised over and over as I realised the punishment I would receive. All of a sudden, the same firm hands that grabbed my shoulders earlier grabbed them again. I was pulled in closely to the tall figure as he rested his hand on my hair, as I rested my head on his chest out of embarrassment. I hid my face in his chest inhaling his strong scent, the sound of muffled talking was dominated by his pounding heartbeat that rang through my ears. It was the best sound I had ever heard, his heart beat was like a drum of love signifying his emotions as he held me close to him. I felt his warm breath on my neck as I was suddenly lifted off my feet, I didn't know what was going on so I just cling onto the nearest thing I could. My head was still buried in the same chest, listening to the same heartbeat song.

After a while, my head was lifted off the chest and a pair of soft, warm hands cupped my face. My head was tilted upwards to look into the same greyish eyes that saved me "you know you should really be more careful." His handsome voice spoke to me, his voice rang through my ears like a summers breeze, Bringing a smile to my face. "Yes sir, I apologise from running from you as well. I have many jobs to do before sundown, thank you sir." I apologised again and thanked him for saving me. "I thought I told you to stop calling me sir, did I not? Also I shall have the other maids and servants take care of your jobs. I thought we could go into town." I silently nodded and we were on our way.
