Alex's eyes grew wide and she stepped onto the porch as she closed the door behind her.

"Tyler what the hell are you doing here?" I asked him half-annoyed.

"I wanted to come and hang out with you," Tyler said calmly.

"Did you follow me?" I asked looking around to see if anyone was in hearing distance.

"No.... uhm, yes actually. Sorry, I just wanted to talk to you."

"Your a freaking stalker is what you are.... Ugh, come in," I said feeling the need to be nice to him.

Tyler walked right in without hesitation. I watched him closely as he walked up the stairs and straight to my room. "Woah there!" I said stepping in front of him. "What?" he asked innocently. "How'd you know this was my room?" I asked him suspicously. "It says 'Alex's room: Do Not Enter.'," he said pointing to the sign. "Riiight," I said letting him in. I closed my room door behind us. "What do you-" I said as I turned around to see he was right in front of me. My heart skipped a beat as his cool breath came over me as he spoke. "I really like you Alex," he said evenly. "But you don't even know me." "I've known you since third grade," his answer came out a little impatiently. I looked into his eyes and saw something familiar but distant.

"Tyler..." I said weighing it out. "Tyler... Tyler.... ohmigosh! I used to call you Tyler the Tiger," I said with a half-smile that I let vanish. I tried to keep my cool. "Okay... that doesn't mean that you know me.. I've changed a lot since then. Why did you leave?" I questioned.

"I went to... military school," he lied.

"Okay... well uh, you can leave now," I said moving slightly out of the way so that he could leave.

"I would rather stay here with you," he said moving over with her.

"Tyler," I said blushed slightly at saying his name. "I have homework and chores.."

"Great! I'll wait right here," he said plopping down on my bed. I eyed him.

"Okay, I'm going to take a shower.." I left the room with my towel.

When I returned 15 minutes later Tyler was still on my bed. "Get out," I told him.

"Can't I stay and watch? I won't touch you." he joked.

"No!" I hissed.

"I won't bite," he said laughing at some unknown joke.

"Uhhg! Turn around," I said going over to my closet and walking half-way in to get some clothes.

I quickly changed and kept looking back to make sure he hadn't looked. As I pulled my damp hair up into a messy bun.. I turned to see him right in front of me. He wrapped his arms around me and leaned down to kiss me. I pushed him away. "You promised...no touching," I got my textbooks and sat cross-legged on my bed. Tyler was there already sitting on the bed next to me. "You know I promised but I can't...." he said with intensity and he kissed me as if his life depended on it. Minutes later when I pulled back to catch a breath his eyes were focused on me.

"Promise me one thing Tyler..." I said forcefully.

"Anything," he said already agreeing to the unknown.

"Don't fall in love with me," I said and stood up. "I'm not worth it."
