Chapter 1

[Marceline's POV]

I was rushing downstairs to the bus. "WAIT FOR MEEEEE!" I yelled out at the bus began to move than stopped for me. I sighed and got on to the bus. My bus mates were giggling at me as I walked to the back of the bus and sat down next to no one other than Feli. He had earphones in his ears and was staring out the window with a lost expression. I pulled one of the buds out of his ear. "You thinking about something Feli?" I asked. He just shook his head. "yes you are... It's that Isabel girl isn't it? Don't lie to me~" I whispered teasingly. He became a deep shade of red. "N-no I'm not! Shut up Marc!" He said/whispered to me. I giggled "you definitely have a crush on her." I said then linked arms with him. "I'm gonna make sure you guys get hooked up with one another!" I said to him. After conversing with him about useless things that no one wants to hear about we finally reached school. I grabbed my bag and he grabbed his and we got of the bus.

We walked to class side by side as always. "I still think cats are better than owls. At least cats don't fly around and make really creepy noises as you sleep." I said. "That's the point! They fly and make cool sounds." He said as we entered the classroom. The class was being itself...noisy, messed up, and dirty. A platinum blonde haired pair of twins, Alex and Aleks, had approached us. "Hello-" Alex,the female, said. "There." Aleks, the male, said. "Heya Alex and Aleks" we said at same time. "Are you to sure you are also not twins?" They said in union "nope" we said at the same time again. we both glared at eachother. "Stop copying me!" We both yelled out at eachother. Chuckles were heard behind us. We turned around and we saw Luis and Jefferson, Felix's brothers, behind us. "Hey there lil' bro. Hey there Nichole Ass." Jefferson said. I stuck my tongue out at him said "Don't call me that Jefferson! Go piss off someone else!". "Yikes! Someone's being feisty" Luis said. I glanced at my side and say Feli trying not to laugh.

I elbowed him which made him stop. "Anyways me and Lu-Lu over here are gonna go get our adviser's stuff. So will you get out of the doorway." He said. We let the through and saw the girls in our class fawning over them. Well with the exception of me, Alex and Isabel. "I don't see that those girls see." Alex said. "Me neither." I said.

[Felix's POV]

Class had already started after the conversation we had or well Marc had mostly. I was by my seat near the window as always while Marc was in the front paying attention. Next to me was this popular girl named Jill. She was pretty awesome to say atleast. She wasn't the stereotypical 'Popular girl' she was nice, pretty, and smart. She and I are friends and nothing more. Behind me was Jackson my twin brother. He was friends with this guy named Nick and a girl named Lillian or Yuki as she sometimes called herself. I was daydreaming about anime and other stuff. I failed to notice that the teacher called my name until a book was slammed down and I snapped back to reality. "Now that Mister Aberstein is listening. I would like to announce that we shall now have a pop quiz." Mrs. Sebastian said. I groaned. 'Why didn't I pay attention dammit! I'm bad at Math and even I know it!' I mentally screamed out. Suddenly the person behind me passed me an cramped paper. I opened the cramped paper. 'Don't worry. It's just simple multiplication. ^ - ^' was written on it. I looked up and saw Marc making a thumbs up at me while the teacher wasn't paying attention. I smiled then got ready for the quiz.

[Time skip]

"you call that simple multiplication?!" I said panicked. "What? It was just easy for me." She said. "Of course it is! Your smart!" I said to her. "Oh shush I'm just as dumb as you are." She said then looked over to her right. "Hey look it's Isabel! You should go talk to her." She said. "What? N-" before I could finished I was pushed over to her.

[Marceline's POV]

I watched them converse with another from afar then smirked. I noticed that they were really hitting it off. I remembered that I needed to return my book to the library and left them to do their thing. I opened the doors to the library and directly went to the front desk to return my book but the librarian wasn't there. A boy went over to the desk. "Ms. Harold is busy at the moment. You can come back later." He said. "Then why is the library open?" I asked and he just shrugged at me. "Anyways I'm Conner" He said. "I'm Marceline. Do you happen to be friends with Lillian? I think she mentioned you once." I said. He just nodded. "Cool." I said. "Well I better get to class now. bye!" I said. He waved at me and I left the library.

I headed off to my next class which was art class. It was a little boring to say the least but I was still interesting. As usual my drawing looked like something a 3 year old drew with food. My friend Tay drew an awesome looking monster but I says mine was more terrifying than hers.....my drawing was a butterfly. After that everything during that whole day just seemed to pass by me in an instant. The only real highlight of the day was that Feli was actually talking to Isabel and not breaking down into a nervous sweat like the last time.

The day just ended like it always did. Feli and I shouted and called each other a few profanities. We got home ad started texting each other and playing on this weird role playing game we found. It was just the ordinary everyday life for us. Nothing special. But then again a normal life for the two of us just meant chaos.
