He was known for selling different kinds of unique ores from different parts of Teyvat, where he would also make it into accessories for people to wear. Your father's business was also the reason why you met this man named Zhongli.
It was a normal day for you, you joined your father at work, admiring him and his work from a distance. You were sitting on the side of the street, a few steps away from the stall your father had made. While you were just exploring your surroundings, you saw an unfamiliar figure standing infront of your fathers stall. His attire seems, quite unique. You went back to your father's stall to attend to the customer that's been standing infront of it, since your father was talking to another merchant about what they can do to improve their business and marketing. "Hello! How may I help you?" You asked the male, who seems to be looking at the cor lapis that was displayed on the stall. "May I ask, can I check these Cor lapis of yours?" The asked without looking at you. "Oh, uhm, sure!" You hesitantly said. You kept an eye on the man, who's currently observing the structure and appearance of the ore. "This ore has great value, its qualities and structure are more well built than other ores". This man had said, while looking closely at the ore at his hand and not making eye contact with you. You didn't mind it tho, formalities aren't your thing anyway. "Ohh, I see, I'll be sure to tell my father about it". You told him. After a few seconds, he Suddenly asked a question. "May I ask, where did you get these Cor lapis?" He asked while eyeing you, staring at your face, waiting for an answer. "Oh, my Father got it from the Chasm, He has miners there who mine ores for his business." You told him. After that, the man suddenly turned his back and walked into the crowd, disappearing from your sight. "Wait, where did he go?" You whispered to yourself, walking straight into the crowd, trying to look for the man. " I didn't get to ask for your name!" You shouted amongst the crowd, hoping that some miracle would happen and you would see him again. Until you Suddenly got pulled away from the crowd into an isolated area by someone. You couldn't see their face, but you can see that they were wearing traditional women's clothing, more likely for people who are high in power or is in a noble family.
